The loot list shows this skelly as dropping Words of Spirit, but I got Word of Materials of one in Kurns, which is not in the list. Do they still drop Words of Spirit

me (lvl 14 monk) and a 18 shaman freind were just lvling in here when some 1 trained us with a lesser icebone we killed it and it dropped 1 burnyai hide armor pieces and 1 ice wand thing is that a rare drop??

The Solist's Icy wand? if so, on most servers it's really rare loot. can go for up to 5k pp

EEP!! i think the badgers are killin skellies also, that or someone decided to give a few bone chips to the Furby's which ever be the reason the one **** had 1 chip and the other had 2 chips.. Tsk Tsk Tsk didnt momma tell ya not to get the furby near a bone, just like dogs id figure..

Is it just me? I have hunted and killed a ton of these guys in LOIO, Kurns and elsewhere...never got a single armor drop. Any advice because my puny little level 14 wood elf rogue really needs the extra couple of strength points.

What's the best zone to hunt these in? I'm looking for lots of skels but not many other mobs around them.

I hunted a ton of icebone in filed of bone and never got them to drop armor. And there is good chance of adds. what i did was to pull them to the feet of kurn tower, or an entrance to the pit. Not much mobs wander in thoses places.

I've found out that the best place would be Kurns Tower, they are abundent, and you can pull them to a safe spot without the worry of adds. Plus they drop Burynai Hide Armor, which has decent stats for lower lvl chars. I've never fought them in Field of Bone or the Swamp of No Hope, so i would not know if they drop armor, or if there is a chance of adds.

i had a lv 50 mage friend of mine try to go into kurns and get all that burynai armor for me. he said he kiled maybe 40 skellys, and not 1 dropped any of that armor. so im wondering...that lv max of 18 means no 1 above 18 can get that armor ? is that it ? send an answer plzzz....thanks

Max level of 18 means that the monster's max level is 18. Burynai Hide armor is a rare drop off most monsters in Kurn's Tower. As a level 50 mage, he should be just slaughtering everything he sees. In my opinion, it's worthless to try and farm this equipment. The only way i've ever gotten any is through xp hunting in kurns. The time and effort required to farm for burynai hide is not worth it in any way.

hello all, i toke my lv 41 mage to kurns yesterday and let my pet have a feild day, i had a lv 13 necro grouped with me i know he got not exp but i let him loot all and i got the armor that droped every thing else is his, from what i saw from killing the moles and skellies, (btw my mole count is about 550 yesterday, skellie count was 300 my pet liked killing them) any ways i have found where you have a better chance where to find the armor, go to the basement, there the fingerd skellie and the jester spawns the skellies drop the armor there. ive found they drop it offeten, i got 2 boots, 2 maskes, cap last night for my monk and my friends monk. i plan on going back tonight after work. if any body is in kurns on bristalbane server send me a tell ill let you follow me around and loot all and kep you safe. well i hope this info worked, BTW it toke me 2 hours to find where it drops the most thats why my mole and skellie count was so high well all got to go be safe and happy hunting.

i fought in the lake from lvl 19 to 30 fighting icebones and everything else u can think of and never got any burynai hide boots and niether did any one else in my group !!!

Has anyone got any in th elake of ill omen?
I have heard that all the skellies inside Kurn's Tower randomly drop this stuff. Have been on a killing spree in Kurn's Tower for 2 days now and have yet to see any Burynai Hide equipment. Most I have gotten from any of them is a rune, Tasarin Grim page, random words, bone chips, and a small amount of cash. Also, Lesser Icebone Skellies seem to be kind of rare in Kurn's Tower. In my time there I have seen MAYBE a total of 4 and never in the same spawn location. Any CORRECT info would be greatly appreciated for I want the boots. :)

Ice Bone found regularly at top of stairs to 2nd floor, in the middle crossway. Also found on 3rd floor near dining room entrance. Im not sure where in Basement, but the basement mob's, including the Burynai drop good loot. So don't limit to Ice bones, try the Furbies as well. Good Hunting to you.

i camped these guys for days and not one of them dropped any burynai stuff. i kill a skele by the name of crusader i think it was and he dropped a cloak, but thats about it. i really want those boots too!

i went to kurns to hunt these guys for the armor. I killed about 100 of these guys and nodda, nothing.Only peices i got of the burynai stuff I got here drop off a lesser charbone and a thick boned skelly.

Fought a lot of these in Lake of Ill Omen. At level 21 most conned yellow, with some reds so they must be higher level out there.

the ones in Kurn's Tower are the only ones that drop burynai hide stuff, the ones in the lake and the swamp do not drop them.

Killed one of these in kurn's tower a couple nights ago, and he dropped a pair of burynai hide boots. AC 5, +2 Str, +2 Wis. Very nice.

Too heavy for you to want to wear 'em. Especially since these are highly saught after for being wisdom shoes that are cheaper than golden efreeti boots. If you get a pair as a monk, i suggest selling them, & buying real monk boots.
