Hey! I looted 3 pp off one of these and i waz on split with a 6 person group... nicey
I highly doubt that it dropped 18 pp. Its more likley that he had 3pp and some change and because of the way autosplit works you got the 3pp. To explain Autosplit doesnt make change to split evenly so if 3pp drops in a 6 member group it doesnt split the pp it just gives all 3 to the person that looted. this is the reason many groups dont use autosplit.

thez have verz good magic resistance, but i have noticed that thez have lower fire resistance, so use fire based spells when fighting them.
There's just somethin fun about wipen the floor with a creature called a warlord. They drop as much as 3pp and all kinds of words and a few runes from what I have seen. Also just about everyone has the Beads, not sure what they are for, and rarely the Drawing Quill, which is another mystery to me.

and yes the totem and earring drop off Granchist the Destoryer not a goblin warrior.
Warslik Woods Can spawn anywhere a goblin does.

As Maximum EQ posts , the Shruken Goblin Skull Earring as well as the Totem of warrior spirit both drop off of Grachnist the Destroyer in Warsliks Woods ..... I dunno why people think that Items as buff as the earring and totem would drop off of level 21-26 mobs.

Like you, I believe that this is incorrect, and that the (note correct spelling) shrunken goblin skull earring only drops from Grachnist. Indeed, high level items do not drop from lower (7+ level separation) mobs.

Ok, the pic of warlord. is not the same as the warlods in Lake of Ill Omen. Goblin Warlods in Lake, have around up to 3 pp of cash, and anything from words, to jade rings (3pp to vendors).

yeah, the Goblin warlord look like any other funky kunark goblins, except that these are slightyly larger than goblin warriors. One more thing, I killed em many times and they always always always dropped 3pp.

The goblins may beat the recruits in straight fights.
But as a monk soloing at 27 - recruits and warlords are approx the same difficulty. (They both require 1 mend, and usually a feign and bandage up to 50)

While killing these little nasties, I have looted green goblin skin a few times. Any ideas what it is for?

Green goblin skin is used in making dye for plate armor.

These guys often fight Sarnaks who invade their territory so if your hunting them and see one, wait for it to be weakened by a Sarnak then move in for the kill when the weaker Sarnak has died, this is great for solo`ing.
Has anyone been down in the goblin dungeaon at the northern most part of the map? is there anything good down there?

if you're talking about Droga, i've been in there. just a a bunch of goblins, always empty, went kinda deep but didn't loot anything interesting. had to evac out, got too ugly.

The drawing quill is fer an iksar shaman quest fer Mystic Scale Armor (their version o' Totemic Armor).

They fit into the same lvl range, but still the warlord whipes the floor with the recruit. I also noticed that these have a bit more hps and are more resistant to magic.
I tried to use the same ..root - dot - med.. I tried with the Sarnak Recruit for the hell of it and they broke the root much quicker and I also got some more resists.
Loot is about the same as the recruit except these always drop the already frequently posted Warlord beads. For the rest they seem to carry 1cp to 2.5pp avarage and very rarely some spell research compononets.
If you going solo - stick to the recruits, you will have less down time. In groups its not really much of a difference.

the ranger captain in firiona wants goblin "RAIDER" beads which is something completely different from goblin "WARLORD" beads.

I know that one totem drops on grachnist, and I got the goblin skull earring off grachnist last night (and the iksar gloves.. on the same grachnist kill ; ) )
I think that the totem and earring WERE dropping on these the first day or two of kunark. Remember how some good loot was dropping on mobs too low for it in kunark and then they fixed it.

(1.5 lvls) & never got the Totem or the earring. Only go those beads.

They drop the warbeads EVERY time. I have never seen them drop anything but the beads and research components, and I have killed them for 8 levels. They are still my primary choice of prey, but I think they go green on my next level (31).

how about never? i can kill these things with 2 DD spells, and my pet can take at least 3 of these things at the same time. ive been camping them for days just trying to get firiona faction and not once have i seen either of these 2 items. i'm almost non kos in firiona and that takes forever to go from scowling to dubious... so you know for a fac that i killed A LOT of these goblins. not once have i seen these items.

Anyone ever looted a shrunken goblin skull earring (or whatever) off one of these guys? I have heard rumors that they drop them rarely.

HAHAHA!!! I'm a level 40 Dark Elf Enchanter and have been camping these things for a few days just for Firiona Vei Faction... Not once have I seen an ear ring... or a pet weapon for that matter. doesn't anything in this zone carry a rusty sword for my pet? and does anyone have any idea what the warlord beads are for? and i know for a fact they are not for the ranger in firiona.

if your an enchanter then what are you looking for pet weapons for? doesn't the enchanter 'animation' come with it's weapons or weapon/shield already...
it always helps to have a pet weapon ;)
