fell off goblin iksar slayer today in frontier mountains.
Success comes when preparation meets opportunity -- and EQ is no exception.
The best place to get these is in the goblin caves in LoIO, the warlords spawn in here far more often than anywhere else i camped. the goblin fort in WW didnt spawn a single warlord for me after wiping it out 5 or 6 times. i got 4 beads in the loio caves in about 15 minutes!
These dropped like crazy for me last night. I kept 4 because I figured if they were quest used I would need 1-4. I have destroyed much of the iksar warrior weapon quest now... since everytime I look up a drop I end up destroying it.

They are for part of Iksar Legionnaire Mancatcher quest that yields an Iksar warrior only weapon.

Does anyone know what quest these are used for? I'm in lake of Ill omen and I see TONS of these things on the ground. If I knew what they were for I could make thousands of platinum just picking them off of dead corpses- because no one else wants them.
