Followed the spawn cycle for a bit. Spawns were all over. Respawn showed on track after around 33s.

Here's what its spawns looked like:

Bristletoe x6
borer beetle x11
griffawn x12
grizzly bear x13
hill giant x2
lion x3
lioness x11
pincer beetle x8
scythe beetle x6
silvermist wolf x24
willowisp x7

Low levels be careful: druids at the ring are social with Bristletoe.

Hide was more common than jerkin.

This one spawned in the south west corner of the zone today. I have seen him up north now and down south in the corner, confirmed various spawn points.

Just killed today and dropped the Superb Bear Hide. Was green to my lvl 42 druid and he aggyed on me anyway. Quest info? Anyone?

This fellow got me killed. Oh, HE didn't kill me, but I am a Druidess of the 26th level (he was green to me and still highly aggro), I port into the Druid Rings in NK, he happens to be passing by, attacks me, and because he is a bear apparently upset...ALL THE DRUIDS JOINED IN.

Be very careful facing this thing around us treehuggers. Some don't stop to see who the good guy is.

then who does? Most likely this is a broken quest where someone forgot to take out these animals when once of the planes closed back up in NK

Ged Twigborn or something in Kithicor Forest, saying something out being able to make the finest equipment out of the finest materials, but it needs great skill.(tailoring)

BTW this was mentioned in an earlier post, just stating it again.

Have nay of you noticed you have all said the same story at least freaking 10 times already we know where he spawns we know that he is a low level but what do you do with his pelt! I have heard ideas of the guy in kithcor but haven't gottne definate answers.

OK, I once killed a named cat in NK and it dropped a superb cat pelt (something along those lines) and it isn't stackable either, I think I smell a new quest. BTW, I'm a druid and the cat was KOS to me in wolf form, so I'm thinking now that it might have something to do with bertox's plague and surefall glades. I'll post back here if I find anything out.

Even con to me at level 13, he his fairly hard for his level, no real difficulties killing him though. I found him wandering between the spires and gypsy camp. He dropped a Superb Bear hide. I'm going to take it to EC and see what it's worth.

Ged Twigborn doesn't say anything at all about an item made with a Superb Bear Hide. He wants a "High Quality Bear Skin" and 25 gold to make Bearskin Gloves.

I saw him today right as he spawned. He spawned right between the tower and the farmers camp that is between the wizard spires and the guard tower. I killed him with a nuke and 2 20dmg blows to my club. I am a 31 druid and easily killed him. He dropped his Superb bear skin which i have no clue what its for.

Didn't see him spawn but ran into him on July 27th right at the bottom of the hill by the Guard Tower. He agro'd on me (level 45 Druid) so I killed him and got the Bearhide Jerkin, which I gave to some level 3 in Rivervale.

Where does this bear spawn we all want to know only have confirmed sightings at druid ring and gypsie camp !

i killed it with a lvl 16 enc or maby they need to nerf enchanters but i don't thank so well i gave the tunic away to some nice newb and thats that

This bear drops a 9ac +2wis +something else tunic, good for some begginner druids. Of course by the time you are leveled enough to kill it, you will be like me and have a foreman's tunic. So sell it and make about 30pp, or make some newbie really happy.

Killed this guy near the gypsy camp. He conned green to my 19th Level monk. I took him easily while being at half health. Level 25 is definitely too high an estimate.
