play BBB or Denon's dissension and DoT away /can melee them also and will take em do fast!!!!

These shaman are more far more rare then their melee'ing counterparts.

They hit in the high 60s to low 70s.

They cast the following buffs on themselves (and any other kobolds/pets in the area) when they spawn:

Quickness
Spirit of Wolf
Companion Spirit (if lvl 34 or above)
Inner Fire (if below lvl 34)
Talisman of Tnarg (lvl 34 and above)

They cast the following spells in combat:

Malaise (if below level 34)
Malaisement (if 34 and above)
Shock of the Tainted
Scourge

I'm sure they cast many others as well, but these are by far the most common.

In addition to the loot listed above, they also drop the following:

Death Cap
Black Henbane
Words of Dark Paths

i was hunting here today getting power lvled by a guild friend (55 druid) and we went to the pool area and he was pulling to me so i could kill them while he rooted and healed. on our way to the pool, we were clearing out the mobs there, and every time we were fighting, one of these came. it casts malisement and proceeded to cast spirit strike, (which does A LOT of dmg when debuffed)and DoTs which ended up almost killing the druid and me. be careful when fighting these things, they can take you down very fast.

Drop up to 4 plat and spell research components. They have higher resist to fire and cast typical shaman spells. They usually have a pet with them.
