This fellow appears in two forms, with one single weapon, or with two swords. His dual wielding variety is VERY strong for his level.
He is virtually immune to magical based attacks (not entirely, but barely a noticable difference).
He re-appears every 2 minutes.

Tried to kill this guy today for SK Epic 1.0 to get the Damaged Militia Helm drop. I'm a 65 SK and this guy cons green to me (as well as the other 2 guards with him, see below) and could barely get him to 99%, I was hitting fairly often for 100+ with a 1HS 24 delay, Arcblade. Hits on me ranged from low 30s to low 100s. I was at 95% with no sign of him dropping at all so I decided to leave. He resisted Festering Darkness but Ignite Blood and Blood of Hate stuck to him. This guy and two other Guards, Guard Fintran and Guard Stoutman all gathered around a small hut near the East Freeport zl (sorry no loc). It appears Epic SK 1.0 will be on hold until we can figure out WTF SOE was thinking with this uber guards. The posts describing the insane regen sound right on the money.
Funny I couldn't even dent the guy. Had trouble getting him down to 96%. 70 War (yeah war dps sux, but jez that's still pretty sad)

I must post a complaint about the sudden invincibility of the Freeport and North Ro Guards. They are among the first kills for SK epic and that makes it impossible to even get started.

Same problem as below he is powerful, couldnt get snare or root to stick but did land 5 dots.
Kited him around at full run speed, and watched his hp go from 100% to 99% and then back to 100% every time the dots hit. That alone has to be a regen of 150 hp every 5 sec. at the very least.

the crazy thing about this guy is that i killed him at lvl 48 with minor diffuculty. When i came back at 49 with my new earth pet, he tore him so fast and i couldn't land full hit with any of my spells. I gotta say that's the 1st time something like that has happened before...
he has 2 forms...one is reasonably easy (or at least possible, coming from a poorly equipped rogue=/) and the other form is extremely strong, (and a pain in the **** to the aforementioned rogue=/ hehe) they seem to switch at random between spawns, and i haven't figured out a way to tell em apart, other than walking up and attacking him

We met Brendyl on 3/31/01 and apparently de Verant Godz don't want him kilt no more. We were on our way to Freeport raid. Had at least a dozen people average level 45. He seemed ta regen about 1000 hp every tick. Could not put a scratch on him with several bashin an blastin for several minutes. He didn't hit enough ta be terribly lethal. Only one or two casualties, both lower levels (in 30s). But we couldn't lay a hand on 'im.

This guy cannot be snared lol. At lvl 44 I used almost 3/4 of my mana just trying to snare/root him and he was having none of it. I was able to root him once for about 2 seconds. Nukes i tried were all or partially resisted.

They resist a LOT magic based spells, but once your bond of force pass, just run and cast some ice based spells. like Ice comet. He seem to resist less ice than fire. he has 3200hp and drop up to 5pp and some FS weapon, sometime rabbit meat or some trash item.
this guy is a 10 minutes or so spawn.
