I had been clearing the entire pit every ~20 minutes for 7-8 hours, never saw him. I went to clear the Glykus event, and can confirm the 'an enraged war boar' that spawn in that event do not count towards the achievement.
The next Pit spawn after i killed Glykus contained an enraged war boar. Coincidence? No idea.

The version of this mob that can spawn during the Glykus encounter does NOT count towards the PoTactics hunter achievement. I just killed 5 and got no credit.

Where does he spawn?, What is his location?
These will also spawn during the glykus encounter if your not careful you will aggro 6 and make an easy encounter into a dreadful one. They also evolve into greaters and enchanted if not tamed early. Those mobs arent on illias.
run named zombie around and he will spawn these great for ornate farming
the mob he meant im almost possitive is glykus helmir...he summons six enraged wwar boars to his aid

yeah he's talking about glykus... zelrin looks like a war wraith.
the pigs in the pen next to glykus "evolve" every 30 seconds or so of the fight against glykus... eventually they become enraged war boars. whats usualy done on al'kabor server to kill glykus is have someone kite the boars while he goes down then pick off the boars.

The named zombie you stated I believe is Zelrin Morlock. After Zelrin popped from killing random war wraiths, an enraged war boar spawned immediately. I think this is part of a pit cycle.
Enraged War Boars are not related to Zelrin: I've killed Zelrin three times since yesterday, and still have yet to see an Enraged spawn.

Summon, Max hit, slowable, snareable, amount of HP, any special tricks up his sleeve? Thx if anyone can fill me in.
He's fully slowable with Tugur's and his max hit on a 67 Berserker with no defensive AAs and 1505 AC was 647. He did backstab me once. I'm not sure if he's snareable or if he summons but I'm assuming he doesn't since almost nothing in the pit seems to summon. He's probably like the named War Wraith named; essentially the same as a normal war wraith but hits slightly harder and has a better loot table.

can anyone confirm, that this boar does not summon?
I don't think the confirmation of anyone else is any more valid than the reply you just replied to, so take that for what it's worth. If it was rooted & DOTed and did not summon them, then it probably doesn't summon.

Seems to drop ring most often have killed lots of these. Other items are his rare.

He spawns in the pit. He is a rare spawn after you kill other war boars. We have seen him as often as 2x in an hour and as few as none in 3-4 hours.

did anyone see him drop Ornate Boot Mold?
Dropped an Ornate Silk Bracelet Pattern when we killed him today.
droped a silk braclet and a rune. taken down by a druid/chanter easy when slowed

Was camping piglet and this guy was on track so i started kiting him and stampede started. Well i let stampede go cause it'd be a pain to try and control both piglet and him. Finally got him down and dropped nothing =/
Well after 2 months of exping in here I finally saw this mob again and got the ring this time.

I suspect the level isn't always 64 on this beastie. Just killed one last night (dropped a Rune), and it conned DB to me at 64, so the particular one we killed could not have been a 64.
