Does the % on this weapon stack with Drums of the Karana?
No, the best % would override the lowest, like attack haste.
At level 43 I chant disease for 50hp a tick with a walrus skin drum. with this dagger I was chanting for 44 a tick which goes along with what lucy's had to say. Only thing I wonder is, does the percentage go up with my level. says recommended level on it for the stats. Not sure if that holds to the percent to percussion as well. Regardless, In group, solo or pl'ing my baby shaman, I stack snare DS and chant whilst melee. Makes for a nice add on DPS. Chanting for 44 a tick, ds for 8 per hit and chains slowing / snaring. the ammount lowered of damage per tick is easily made up with the added melee damage which you couldnt do befor. Only time i could see not using this with my troubldor's mace is if occlusion of sound was needed for a very tough mob and the extra percent to percussion was needed. /shrug

Anyone know what mob this drops off of? I looked at all the mobs list and no one mob stats it drops this yet.
I have my flag for Drunder, but don't know where to hunt with friends for this.

I don't have my epic yet, but a lot of times I'm asked if i can smack down the resistances of incoming mobs (using Occlusion of Sound, percussion required). Not having to switch in a drum for that task would be a benefit in itself. The stats ain't awesome, but they are a lot better than the weapon I use in my main hand now, Breath of Harmony, 10/18 with no stats. And not having to swap in a drum for those moments you'd like to run away from mobs that were on their school track team is another excellent benefit. But these are obvious plusses. This would also be awesome on those raids where there would be 2 or more bards. One bard could be hasting and playing Chorus of Replenishment, while another could be zapping the mob with one, two, or three DoTs...all the while contributing with more dps by beating on the mob as well (11/17 suhwheet!) Agro management? Not sure if it will be an issue, but then that's why we have Song of Dawn. What can I say, beutiful weapon. Even if I did have my epic, I'd love to have this in my main hand.
Does anyone know which mob this drops off of? It says multiple creatures, but....yeah. Not too much help there.

Just picked this up today for only 5k. After seeing what it does, I cant believe it was that cheap. The percussion modifier is the same as walrus skin drums, and the ratio is great as well. An item most bards cannot pass up.

Percussion modifier for this item is 2.0 and Walrus Skin Drums are 2.3 according to lucy.fnord.net so its not that great. Still a nice weapon! See links below:

Anyone know what bonus this gives to percussion?
i would kill to have this for my bard. now if only they only made a Wep that had a stringed instrument effect...
There is the Tear Shaped Ring (https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=17097) which I like even better.
I think both are great Items. It seems it is a little late in the game to put items like these in tho. Great items hope to see more.
