I've been charming these things for ages.. just saw this on the retrospective link. I've NEVER been affected by their AoE or seen it when they were my pet.. what's up?
what are the PHs for these if there are any? i killed 3 then couldnt find anymore ... decided to try frogs in the center (by the BoT zonein) tap tanking. it didnt go very well, died with the stupid froggy at 47% and full DoT array on still ticking =\ nasty little frogs.

All the lorok's are social. So if any wander by while you are killing one, they will assist. They seem to be the only mob in the Forest section of wandering mobs that are automatically KOS to everyone. You can hunt these with immunity if you do not attack any of the other mobs in the area (treants, ents, bears, snakes, etc.)
While visiting pos my lil friend kabober found out the hard way these things dot.. The dot took kabober down from 1 bub of health to dead.. was an SK pet and a lil slow backing off for the enrage... Ill try to find out dot and dmg per tick next time
those were always blue to me at 62. to the 60 monk in our group they were always white.
Have around 20k HP, no real high resists, but then, my nuke has a neg -50 fire resist check Just magic seems to be a bit higher than the others. Drops lot of 8 - 16 pp items stackable, and very rarely Etheral Parchments. gives 9% AA per solokill at 65 afaik
Oh and those are rogues. I just ate a backstab for 260 -.-
There is no difference between regular exp per kill and AA exp per kill on the frogs or any other mob. Regular exp moves slower, you get bored, call it bad exp and really most things you get AA with take as long as a full 61-65 bar but you get to hear a ding every once in a while so you deem it better exp. Use more logic people...
Well, I have no real knowledge of how experience is scored, but I have experienced MM's that give CONSIDERABLE more experience aa-wise than regular experience. I know that there is some variance from one MM to another repeat of that MM, but nothing that would explain why I get a yellow bubble of exp on one, and almost full aa on the same MM when set 100 perc to aa-exp. That has nothing to do with logic. These were all observed from level 64 to 70 btw, not that that should make any difference, since all observations were at same exp level, one MM to another.
