ok I maybe wrong but thats kinda conclusive proof to me THEY SUMMON,, but you make your own mind up. --it may also depend where in zone you are for all I know but my corpse said it summoned & i believe my corpse every time,, the corpse test dont lie.
This is the most awesome pet I've ever seen, but it requires a fall back scheme.
The Toad itself does not summon. But most other mobs out there do, so if you think you can solo with this pet, think again. You need someone to keep aggro away from the druid, and possibly a secondary healer to take care of the MT while druid is running around snaring and re-charming.
A couple of friends an myself did this yesterday with this group :
65 Druid 62 Shadowknigt (me) 59 Shaman 61 Paladin
With Shammy-Haste on the Toad did ~450 DPS with max hits of 638.
You're thinking of hurricane loroks which spawn in the forest area. Tempest toads spawn in the middle area, do summon, and are not charmable, and not mezzable. They ARE stunnable and harmoable however. Also they have the same "froaking mist" proc as many of the other frogs here. Hope that clears things up for other readers.
