Dropped tonight from a Pyre Golem - one of the ones guarding the four routes from the zone in point. First kill in HS...very pleased!

The shield is for the palidan quest starting in the plane of sky for the firey avenger. It is one of the palidan epics.

No, that is wrong. The shield for the upgrade from Fiery Defender to Fiery Avenger drops off an inky SK (level 53 or so) that wanders in Nektulos Forsest named Kirak D'Vil. He paths from the Neriak zone in cave to the POK book and back.

Junk for where it drops. Its gotta be a quest item, that is about the only reason I'd figure for it dropping in those places. Then again, the Jagged Chokidai Spine does drop in Chardok.

Would take good old 10ac mr shield from CB over this though, so this is going a bit overboard on low lvl especially considering it's no drop. Would assume this is a pally or maybe cleric quest item.
I would like more info on where/what this shield is droped. Stats isn't all that great but the look is nice.

I am the one who posted this to Allakazam. I mentionned that it dropped in HS. HS is Charisis or Howling Stones.

Have you tried to "purify" it with like the items from Stonebrunt mountains?

I just don`t know who might be the quest giver so I can "purify" that shield.
Might be a Chardok quest (drops on undead sarnak) or maybe a Cabilis quest?
All suggestions are welcome.

I also had one drop while I was in howling stones from a greater plague bone skeleton about two days ago.
