Words of Acquisition (Beza)While working on the Hunters kills in the Howling Stones (Charasis), I killed over 50 a pulsating biles, and did not once get a drop of Slime. Perhaps it only drops off the pulsating biles in the Ring of Scale Howling Stones.

It was worth a try as Zam is truly unclear on the issue. However the Slime needed for Kunark concoction is not going to be found in this 45 level zone:)

I can agree that south is the way to go. Don't even need key to get there.
Shrink yourself in front of the door, then grow yourself while running forward and bam, you're in. 5 mins later, I killed 2 biles, and got my 2 oozes.

Can any shaman that have compeleted their 1.5 recently confirm the best place to hunt for "a pulsating bile." Over a year ago, it was suggested that the south part of the zone was the best.
I am headed there this weekend and would like to maximize my chances of getting my two "corrosive goo" quickly.

The South is the best way to go as far as getting goo. There are two general areas they spawn at one is in the cave section just south west of when you come through the door just make a right and go strait. This has 2 one north in the cave and another south of it where the room starts again.
The secound and by far the best spot is in the hall area to the fare south east. The two spawn in the hex hall areas there.
A word on getting there. If you have not already spent the time getting the hand of glory, don't even bother trying at this point. The best path is to get a frend or bot to shroud to rogue form and open the south door for you. If you go to the 2nd camp I discribed you will need to take him with you.
Another way is to shroud yourself and go in, buff up, take plenty of healing potions, snare potions and obvously your key and lockpicks. when done just use the shroud ot leave.
This should get you, your goo's in one to two respawns (a respawn being 18 min).

At this part of my 1.5 currently...Any idea if the Bile Golems are place holders for the Pulsateing bile? also any /loc on the camp for these? the only Pulsateing Bile there was called A Pulsateing Bile that i have seen so far.

Just looted my first Corrosive Goo of "a pulsating bile" so I think the name is a mistake. I havne't seen any without the "a".

correct, its name is: a pulsating bile
and it spawned most time in the east wing when we camped it.

I just got my 2nd goo, and frankly this camp sucks... I did the east wing for about 2 weeks, and got 1 goo. So I talked to a rogue friend of mine, went to south wing and got 2nd goo within 30 mins (spent a total of about 30 hours in east wing).. Highly recommend rogue and south wing rather than floating to east wing on this one

I finally got my second Goo for the shm 1.5. I'd say it took about 50 kills to get both.
They drop lots of different words/grimoirs...but they also drop something of a little more interest, which is an 8 second cat time, single charge, belt enabled, Root. The effect listed is actually immobolize. Ill type out the exact info for it next time I'm logged in.

Im not having much luck with these. I got one goo to drop from the second one i killed, but none since. Check the zone with my ranger every hour or so for pops. Run in, kill...nothing but dusty iksar skulls and stuff. Ive probably killed 20 over the last 3 days. Anyone have aprticular good drop rate in one spot or am i just bad luck?
Counts as undead for purposes of spells and crits.

I had heard that these spawned in the east and south wings. We had tried to just levi to the east door, I made it, my friend who was with me couldn't for the life of him. :-)
We ended up just having a rogue come and just open the south door for us. We killed about 4 pulsating biles in that wing alone and 3 out of the 4 dropped Corrosive Goo for my epic.
So, keep it simple, grab a rogue, go to the south wing, and be done with it quickly. Also, the south and east wings are connected via a secret passage(without having to kill a named) so if you don't get lucky in the south wing, try the east wing. :-)
I had a 58 BL, 70 shammy (me), and a 68 rogue with me, way overkill but it went by fast.
We ended up just having a rogue come and just open the south door for us. We killed about 4 pulsating biles in that wing alone and 3 out of the 4 dropped Corrosive Goo for my epic.
