Fine Weapon Making Volume 3
One handed Weapon Assembly

Weapon assembly will be
done in either a sewing kit
or the forge, depending on
which item you make.
Whips, Saps and fist wraps
will use your tailoring
skill in a sewing kit,
while the rest will be in a
forge. For the sewn
weapons, you will need to
get filament, marrow and
animal pelts according to
the quality of the material
you are using. For the
metal weapons, you will
need to get coal, loam and
ore according to the
quality of the material you
are using.

To make a leather whip you

will need to use an
embroidering needle and
filament to sew two animal
pelts and some barbs into a
whip using a whip pattern
and polishing it with
marrow.

Make leather fistwraps by
sewing studs into the
appropriate animal pelt
using the appropriate
filament and an
embroidering needle,
polishing it with marrow.
Use a fistwrap pattern as a
guide.

You make a sap by sewing
fill into an animal pelt
with an embroidering needle
and filament. Follow a sap
pattern and polish it with
marrow.

All metal weapons will
require you to use coal to
further heat the metal in
the forge, and loam to
change the hardness and
flexibility of the metal
while it is hot.

For a long sword, melt and
mix ore and a block of
weapon grade ore and pour
it into a hilt casting mold
and a blade shaped mold.
Break it from the mold with
a smithy hammer and sharpen
it with a sharpening stone.
Finally wrap the hilt with
a hilt wrap.

To make a knight's sword,
melt and mix ore and a
block of weapon grade ore
and pour it into a hilt

casting mold and a heavy
blade shaped mold. Break
it from the mold with a
smithy hammer and sharpen
it with a sharpening stone.
Finally wrap the hilt with
a hilt wrap.

Make a hand axe by melting
and mixing ore and a large
brick of weapon grade ore
and pour it into an axe
head shaped mold. Break it
from its mold with a smithy
hammer and sharpen it with
a sharpening stone. Fit
the axe head onto a short
haft to finish the weapon.

For a dagger, melt and mix
ore and a small brick of
weapon grade ore and pour
it into a small hilt
casting mold and a small

blade shaped mold. Break
it from the mold with a
smithy hammer and sharpen
it with a sharpening stone.
Finally wrap the hilt with
a hilt wrap.

Make a short spear by
melting and mixing ore and
a large brick of weapon
grade ore and pour it into
a spear head shaped mold.
Break it from its mold with
a smithy hammer and sharpen
it with a sharpening stone.
Fit the spear head onto a
haft to finish the weapon.

To make a mace, melt and
mix ore and a block of
weapon grade ore and pour
it into a mace head shaped
mold. Break it from the
mold with a smithy hammer

and fine-tune its shape
with the hammer. Fit the
mace head onto a short haft
to finish the weapon. A
hammer can be made the same
way, simply use a hammer
head shaped mold instead of
a mace head shaped mold.

For a baton, melt and mix
ore and a small brick of
weapon grade ore and pour
it into a metal wrap shaped
mold. Break it from the
mold with a smithy hammer
and while it is still
malleable from the heat,
wrap it around a baton and
seal it using the same
smithy hammer.

Make an ulak by melting and
mixing ore and a large
brick of weapon grade ore

and pour it into a ulak
blade shaped mold. Break
it from its mold with a
smithy hammer, fit a handle
onto the blade, and wrap it
with a hilt wrap.
