It's not a 100% drop rate so RNG can be cruel sometimes.

"Chancellor of Di`Zok now has a small chance to spawn anywhere in the Sarnak Fort in the Lake of Ill Omen. The throne spawn location for the Chancellor now spawns much more frequently, but is no longer guaranteed to be the Chancellor of Di`Zok."

Anybody looking to buy this for Howling Stones key quest, please make sure you buy the Shaman only one, the other one will not work in the quest.

I have been camping chancellor on and off for while to get the prod to pass to guildies, cheated yesterday and bought it, didn't even know there were 2 types hehe.

everyone please note that these days the Jade Chokidai Prod is good for everyone doing the Charasis key quest. There is just one version of the Prod.

Hmm, Yup, I see two on lucy.

Is it just a random drop difference? I've never actually used the Prod, just turn em in for a Charasis key.

There is another version also, not counting the fabled one.
At one time, it was useable by others, and was supposedly overpowering, so the new one is shm only.
Instead of changing them all, they just changed "all from now on".

Wanted to thank Jorfo.=) I just hit my lrvlr and went oto get spells and training and ran right into him! after a moment of Gathering one's senses he looked at my equipment and said..."Here ya go Looks like you can use this..lol" at the time my only weapon was The Veliumn Morning Star and couldn't hit worth ****! and then it's affect wouldn't work till lvl 35.
I was so happy and if he reads this I am in debt to you. At higher levels or if ya need a little errand boy let me know!
He also gave me this Awsome Shield haven't found one better yet!...much indebted to you my friend. and he was one of those awsome guys that said..."To repay me..."(cause i tried to give some plat to him)"..When you get something better..Pass it to another Newbie like i am now..and how another did before me."

Awsome guy never forget him.

What server was this on? and what name? I met a gent like that on the Erolisi Marr server. Really nice guy. Think his name was Razzer or something along those lines. I play a shaman on EM server and have been trying to get that spear for months. Always wind up being ajaxed before I get close to killing him.

I just won this tonite in a multi guild event. Thanks to Kronack Kindheart of The Elite Force for letting me have this weapon. For me, it is great, and I am not gonna make any STUPID complaints that it is 'nerfed' or that it sux and something else is better. Only problem is, I didn't find a piercing weapon for so long, my skill stinks...but it will get better.

I was hunting at the Sarnak fort on MT last week. A high level looted this off of the Chancellor. He saw me outside the fort and just gave it to me.

The only difference is the exclusion of Rogue from the list of usable classes in the 'nerfed' spear.

It should be noted that there are 2 versions of this spear. The one listed here is the nerfed version. The Jade Chokidai Prod used to be wieldable by Rogues (and other classes I think). The spear is used for a quest for a key to Sebilis (if I am not mistaken) and I believe also for a rogue quest.

I have seen the un-nerfed version listed at 10kpp, just due to it's rarity.

Spear is used for the key to Charasis (Howling Stones), not Sebilis. :)

if ya want a ranged spear...dont waste plat on anything other than howling harpoon! very sweet!

I just traded my slime coated harpoon for this spear. The stats on the slime coated were dmg 10 delay 25 Wis +5 mana +10 - i thoguht this was better but i guess not, it says the slime coated is worth like 1 k more almost. why is this so? did i get ripped?

The slime has lowere delay, better dam/delay ratio, and can go in range slot. you got ripped. For anyone buying this for the HS key quest 1k is nothing, plus they would have no problem getting it themselfs.

The Slime Coated Spear is worth more because it can be equipped in the range slot, which is nice for Shaman wanting to get 200 Wis

probably not. It's probably worth more because it's part of a quest to get the keys to Howling Stones, a high 50+? level dungeon.
