The Buried SeaI had a chocker drop from a froglok shin warrior last night on Antonius Bale Server.
This was the first MOB I killed in the zone while trying to get the Radiant Shard for the Level 25 quest. The shard for the level 30 quest seems much easier to get with lower level MOBs.

dropped from a Froglok Wan Knight today
After doing this(whole quest) for 5 char and starting more I have concluded it is all just soe random. Any mob can drop at any time. I usually go about it one of 2 ways. Kill everything in zone till it drops. Or take a wide camping area and kill ALL respawns about 3 or 4 times. Some days you could camp for hours on end, with nothing, log, come back next day and have 3 drop in an hour. Its all just random. Nothing to beat your brains out with, it does happen but when its ready.

it took awhile but I did find one drop off of one. YOu have to go pretty deep into the area to get it.
UNTIL SOMEONE CAN POST A SCREENSHOT OF THEM LOOTING THIS FROM A KEEPER, FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR SANITY, DONT TRY TO GET THIS FROM THEM. THE SHARDS WILL FALL PLENTY FOR YOU THO.

was wandering all through the zone looking for the best place to fight to look for both the choker as well as the Radiant Shard. Fought spectrals, cockatrices, frogloks, Erollsi's, etc... at around LOC 1890, 3500 I was attacked by several pathing mobs, the first few kills had nothing. The next item killed in that group was a Froglok Tal Shaman who dropped the Silverwing Choker. The very next kill was a Sabertooth Tigress and she had the Radiant Shard on her for the Silverwing Circlet looted in Permafrost earlier.
This location is just along the river's edge between the lake and the zone for Swamp of No Hope. If you were to draw a straight line between that zone line and the one for Emerald Jungle, there is a ruins (that a hunter sometimes shows).. my location was basically straight south of that ruins. Hope this helps anyone still looking for the choker and shard and that you have a good a luck as I did procuring them. I was in and out of the zone within a hour and a half with both item.

After killing hundreds of Spectral Keepers near Crusader Vragor I decided to go to the spot describe by KiteGators here.
I got two shards here and then finally after another hundred kills I got the Choker off a Sabertooth Tigress.

I have killed hundreds of the Spectral keepers and not had it drop.
Today, I killed one Stonegazer Cockatrice and there it was.

Just had Silverwing Choker, 12-22-07, drop from a Spectral Keeper in lower most southwestern part of zone, aye , near,where turn in for seb key is.

There's a whole field of spectrals in the south end of the zone outside of the cave where you do the turn in for the Sebilis key.
3 of us killed continuously for an hour or so and we had one shard drop but no Silverwing.
I think I'll go back to killing frogloks and just misc mobs.

any area in particular yielded the choker? ive tried killing lots of spectral keepers and have not seen it yet ... i had the shards drop off of the knight warrior and shaman but haven't seen choker yet... can anyone confirm that they also drop choker?

Wife just looted this with her sk and her task window popped up giving her the task Lost Heirlooms (Level 30). Guess the new hot zone quests require looted items from the zone to receive task. Will post more after we get done xp'ing and she follows up on the quest.

I've been killing for a few days, perma was easy, mistmorre was easy, then this place non-stop killing for a few days now.
Did a lot on north side, spend a bunch of time killing champs and keepers and a few commanders on the south west side.
