it says up top found in PoK. can you get the quest from PoK or is it sold in PoK can someone plz tell me thx
It's quested through the "Saga Skins" quest, which begins when you loot your first Skin in Devastation. You then need to proceed through the remainder of the quest (which includes looting 8 more Skins), taking them to Maelin in PoK Library to be deciphered, preparing the Skins (binding them into book form), then returning the 2 resulting books to Maelin for your spell.
Alternatively, you can just do the quick-and-dirty method: kill stuff in Devastation until you've got 4-of-a-kind of the NO TRADE body parts (Shiliskin Tentacles, Drachnid Heads, whatnot) and head into Sverag to turn 'em in for your spell.
Be warned: getting your spell via the second method is much quicker and easier...but if you want to do *any* of the end-game PoR zones, you're going to end up having to do the "Saga Skins" the hard way, anyway.
(Also, to begin the "Saga Skins" quest, you MUST loot your first Skin in Devastation. E.g., if you're in a Samples of Corruption mission, but haven't yet looted your first Skin...don't bother picking any up. They won't count, and you'll end up with a lot of worthless No Trade items you'll have to destroy...especially when someone else might've been able to make full use of them.)

by far the best pally spell i have seen soe come out with. the spell procs when you get hit instead of when you hit the mob, hence if you are getting beat by several mobs it procs more. it was healing me about every 3rd time i got hit. thank you soe for finally doing the pally class justice.

OK, after waiting more than a week for SOE to fix the door to the Stronghold (from Devastation), I log in on my Baz trader, and see in /ooc chat that the door has been fixed.
Woot, finally I'm thinking... log on my Pally, run to Devastation, get to the door, break it down--only to get inside and see a few see-invis red con spideys to my left and right.
Now, my question is: Where is the quest NPC "supposed" to be ?? Text says "just inside the door to the Stronghold"...I even broke down the next door in front of me, after entering Sverag (Sp?), only to find a small war going on between a bunch of red/yellow con bolvirks and spideys...No NPC anywheres...
I then ran around (invised, but most mobs see thru it anyways) the outer hallways a bit, just to see, and found nothing...cept for more see-invis spideys...
Soo, after about 5 deaths, 30 or so invis pots, roughly 15 gate pots, and countless hours wasted, I still have nothing....TY Sony, SOE, whoever...
Edit: Went back again, and just to clarify a few things, the NPC Skald was there BUT, he was behind the Next door you have to break through, after the first door from Devastation. He was also very near other red con Bolvirks (KoS, see invis), so be careful when trying to hail/talk to him. The Wurine Paws I handed in had to be handed in single, as he would just give them back when I tried all 4 at once.

years and years later we get an upgrade to our Yaulp. Im glad that I stuck around to see us get something this useful; it was worth it, I like it
