Off-topic, yes, but this is something that has been bugging me for a long time. When I sell Silver Chitin Hand Wraps, like 1/3 of the tells I get are something to the effect of "do they stack with FBSS?" NO! How many times does Verant have to say, and how many times to players have to say, that haste items do NOT stack?! Yes, I know the exe axe is an exception, as are any other weapons that proc. But that's the difference: it's a proc. Mith 2h + FBSS = same haste as Mith 2h because both are hast items. The Exe Axe's haste is a spell effect triggered by attacking. You can have 1 (one) haste item and 1 (one) haste spell effect going at any given time. If you have more than one of either in action, the faster haste will win out, always. Just wanted to clear this up.
Actually you can have 4. For Example: 1. Speed of Vallon-62 ENC (Single tgt)or Vallons Quickening-65 ENC (Group) 68% Haste 2. Warsong of Zek- Bard song 60% Haste 3. Worn Haste i.e, Cloak of Flames 36% haste 4. Captain Nalots Eyepatch 20% clicky haste item that stacks with all of the above
I know this exceeds the haste cap but all of these DO stack. If there was no haste cap that woiuld be a total of 184% haste. [:jawdrop]
Captain Nalots Quickening (Clicky spell haste from Eyepatch of Plunder) does NOT stack with Speed of Vallon or any other spell hastes. It does NOT overwrite eachother, bbut the haste does NOT stack. Ty for the attention :)

Cool of you to post almost 3 years later about how different hastes that didn't exist at the time the person posted can now stack with each other with the excepetion of the cloak of flames.

That's why a lot of rogues think their epic should have better haste on it, since their belts make the effect on their epic useless. Monks also have a 60% haste belt in sky, as do paladins (I think).
No, actually all those items are 41% haste, as that is the highest the game engine will allow. Higher haste values are why all the haste items in NToV weren't giving their haste effect.
Remember, the listed haste percentage is the % increase in attacks in any given time.
41% the highest haste effect allowed on an item. spells, focus effects, etc are a whole different deal... which is why bard songs can take you way over the haste cap.

Range: melee Damage: 200 crushing, 200 fire based dd Allowable Targets: Gnome, Haflings Effect Details: causes target to be hit for 400 damage with possible resist on fire half, also decreases charisma by 50 points. Items with this effect: Blue Suede Shoes, Vegas Medallion, Sideburn Swiftblade
Well according to Copelands Stats (www.geocities.com/copelandeq/meleestats.html) it has a considerable increase from the previous "Top" haste item (Cloak of Flames 26.5%) so I'll take a guess and say its well into the 30's and maybe low 40's in haste %, I am not sure how valid his calculations are but to my experience using his program (Weapon Analyzer) its 90% sure he has done his research or obtained it from a reliable source....lets just say that I would sell my soul and anyone elses soul to have this item!
