I am still confused! Is the Spell: Imbue Valor memmed and cast or is it consummed in the combine?

After reading all the info again I have come to the conclusion that the spell: imbue valor is memmed and cast on the items in your inventory.

I am a 250 JCer and I have my eyeglass trophy as well. I have also sunk a few AA pts I currently have JCM2 which is a 25% less chance of failure. I had all the components to make one of thse stashed in bank and today i decided to try it. Failed the first combine. Tried it in PoK. Then i gathered up another 4k to buy the needed components to try again, and you guessed it. FAILED! This time I tried it in the bazaar. Not sure if high traffic zones have any effect on sucess, but im startig to think it does. Perhaps next time I'll try it in Freeport lol.

Failed 4X in a row. Had eyeglass and 250 skill. First 4 I ever did were successes, last 4 were failures. It's an expensive gamble.

Your eyglass only gets your skill up to 252 - that's the cap on tradeskills. The triv on this is 250+ and, from what I can see, its probably 270+ and seems to have a fail rate of 20-30%. When you make one it's just a crap shoot.
Not sure what you mean by JCM2, do you mean SCM2? If so, this affects spells only - not trade skills. Sadly, there are no AA abilities which affect tradeskills (be nice if there was).
High traffic does not affect success either, the ONLY thing that affects success is your current (modified) skill level which you have maxed out. Sorry bud you were just unlucky and there is nothing more you can do to improve your chance of success.

JCM2 is Jewelcraft Mastery 2. Jewelcraft Mastery is an Enchanter only AA. Max is JCM3, which reduces chance of failure on jewelcraft combines by 50%. My chanter also has JCM2 and needs 4.5 more AA to get JCM3.
After GMing Jewelry last week, a friend gave me 7k to make him one... Well I got all the ingredients for not one but 2 of these.. Figured I'd give my guildy one and sell the other for a nice profit...
Bam! Fail the first, succeeded on the second.
At any rate my guild friend gets his ring but no profit for me. Losing a potential 6 - 8k on a single failed combined is SOOOO depressing...
Anyway. No useful info, just talking. It's a fabulous ring, htough. I see why it's in such high demand.

If you or anyone for that fact has ANY trade skill at GM status especially one so pp intensive as JC then failure on high priced combines shouldn't be a stranger to you lol. While I am sure ya never get used to it, I would imagine the fact that it CAN and usually does happen is a constant reminder of how much it sux and why we should sack the entire staff at verant. :)

I have one of these bad boys and according to mine its a required level of 61, not 60 as shown in the picture.

Definitely not Required lvl of 60, I have had one on my Pally since 50 or so, added my second one recently, Recommended lvl is 60 though.

I just bought one yesterday for my lvl 60 paladin and was able to equip it with full stats showing. Mine shows a recommended lvl of 60.

This spell is purchased in N. Freeport and is put INTO the jeweller kit with the raw diamond and the metallic liquid. You then hit combine.
Or:
As a cleric i can cast imbue valor and it will take the raw diamond and metallic liquid from my inventory and create the Yellow diamond

Didn;t work ion a reinforced jewelers kit, need to use Planar Jewelers kit.
Was just curious if someone could post a walkthrough for making one of these things. I got a little lost when trying to figure out how the Imbue Spells factored into the making.

I just got mine made by kraka on ayonae ro, one of the nicest guys i ever met. i got a great deal on 2 razorfiend talons and a metallic liquid for 1300pp and decided to find somebody to make one. and im lovin this ring. thank you very much kraka :)
Traded 15k and a bow for this, nice ring, huge stats on a finger for a ranger, hell my tolans greeves are ac24 +8 to str dex sta wis this ring is same stats - 19ac, on a finger :) lol i'd do it again if i ahd the pp tell u that much.

True but effort to get this compared to getting the spirit wrecked cords is nothing. Much easier to get metallic liquid and all the other components.
We are looking at the player made Regal Band of Bathezid. No click albeit.
