I have had several 'a thul tae ew xyz' (where xyz is defender, etc) drop the Tae Ew Blood Vial. I suspect it drops from all of them, but haven't been writing the full name down, but have been certain to make sure it was a brown (thul) lizard. It does seem more common from the green (non thul) variety.

If a group of 50's can't take these things, especially with a war with 5k hp, you need to find a better cleric, I box the mobs at the entrance and foyer with a 58 cleric and 53 shd, all bazaar geared, and no slow, soooooooo, what does that tell you? Saoweyn and Minievil of Maelin
Does this stuff drop off the Tae Ew dudes in Feerrott?

I hear you can get good money someone said like 500 pp but you guys are talking about 2k could you REALLY get that much I mean obviously the buyers would like 500 more but... wow that sounds alot when ive been hearing that it should be 500 pp well thanks anyways.
Price for the bloods vary widely by server. On rodcet nife, nobody would pay 2k. Personally, I refuse to pay over 800 per blood, and have still been able to find quite a bit. I'd buy up all you had at 500 per.
A 65 BL definitely should be able to solo these, at least the ones by the zone. Once you get further in, the problem becomes getting a single pull.

Thought I'd throw in my 2 coppers. I'm an adventurous 51 seasons shammy, always looking for a new 'spot'. Checked the beastiary, saw they were only a few levels above me, and decided to attempt the warders at the front door. OUCH. Had full buffs, with kei and virtue. Brought up pet, and buffed as I could. Decided since it would be a double pull, to root one, and slow the other. Root got resisted. They killed dogdog in 2 rounds, and if it wasn't for virtue I would have gone soon after. Glad I stayed as far back as I could near the zone line. A 51 shammy cannot touch these things. (Yes I know I am on the low side, but as I said, an adventurist.) ... Brought a full group of Mid 50's back a bit later, and they took down the tank in 6 rounds (55 Warrior, 5khp). Wait 'til the 60's.

Hi i'm wondering if a 65 Cleric can solo the entrance Tae Ew mobs? I'm after them for Blood vial drops...
You can probably solo it fine.

The blood is not Thul types, it is just Tae Ews Blood Vial. They sell on my server (CT) for around 2k each. They are random drops from any green lizard in the zone and appear to be quite common. As for the scale, there are two varities, the regular shiney scale and the Pristine Tae Ew Scale. The pristine version is a rare drop from the Thul Tae Ew lizards found near the the temple and 4cs areas past the maze.
I've heard from a very reliabe source that there are 2 lizards just inside the zone-in to CT. These can be camped by 3-4 people and will drop the blood quite often. They have a lot of hitpoints and summon. I believe they are about like the Moktar in UP for difficulty. I have also looked for Thul Tae Ew Blood in the bazaar, but never find any, while I have seen some of the Tae Ew Blood Vial, which people are selling for around 2500pp, which is a pretty good indicator that it's the right stuff. Since it's not actually called Thul Tae Ew Blood, it drops off any of the lizards in zone. I haven't made it into CT yet, but plan on doing so very soon to get some blood and find a smith to make a tunic for me.

I can confirm basically everything you have heard. I got a Tae Ew Blood Vial off one of the lizards at the zone in, and I sold in in the bazaar for 5000pp within an hour. It IS the blood used for the temper.

I got some of these. But they were called Tae Ew Blood Vial, not Thul Tae Ew Blood. They did work in the recipes. The icon looks like a yellow vial.

Yes, I had the same experience. I also think the "Pristine Lizard Scale" is actually called a "Shiny Lizard Scale"

Dunno whether it drops throughout CT, but when we farm for blood, we just work the entrance area. Tae Ew this, Tae Ew that...warriors, casters, etc. etc. Don't remember specific names, ...I think several types spawn. But if you kill the first few spawns at the doorway and in the courtyard, you'll get occasional blood vials.
Mobs in Upper and Lower Tae dropped blood, not the gorilla's of course. 
I'm going to take a wild guess and say... the thul tae ews.
