| This is the second of two instanced zones involving the group task "Safe Passage" in which you are enlisted to help escort a group of refugees from the Old Commonlands tunnel to the Army of Light headquarters in Bloody Kithicor.

I can confirm as of 6-30-10.. the pet pull trick still works.. I pulled thalan across commonlands zone wall up to the kith zoneline. I invis and run him there stopping every now and then to let him catch up.. make sure you have a hotkey ready to hail him and /say scout.. when thalan comes threw the fenced area you should get an UD (update) also (remember to click off your invis or else hailing him and talking to him wont work) once you get UD hail thalan and spam scout to him next thing ya know your zoning into kith.. once inside kith before you do anything get the 3 UD first in that area scouting.. then same as before send pet to attack and then pet hold. invis and run thalan threw kith I lost agro a few times and had to go back and have pet re attack him. so after 3rd time of loosing agro i let thalan stay pretty close to me all the way to final UD spot.. once again as soon as i got UD once in light camp I hailed and spammed ready to him.. viola zoned back out with completion then just had to hail bavarion. so it does work.. and im a lvl 85 BST.. I dont have FD or anything just pet hold and send pet in to attack then pet hold.

Despite what previous posters have said, I can personally confirm that as of June 28, 2010 the pet trick does still work. If it is not working for you you are not doing it right.

I did the scouting, cleared the path a bit then pet pulled the Colonel and back pet off, led him around camps to where he is supposed to go, then hailed him while he was beating on me for update then said ready while he was STILL beating on me to get sent back lol and it worked.

This quest is really bugged done this about 20 times now and cant seem to make it work. the bugs i have found are. on the third ambush named will aggro on you for no reason and his guards. kill him. on the 4 ambush just after one of the roaming animals will aggro and kill him. If your like me and are very obsessive and you finally do get him to camp make sure you party each one of them hails him before you speak key phrase to go to Commonlands. As i have not succesfully gotten past this part i can tell you know more. I petitioned Sony about possibly crediting me for this task. The response was we will fix it hang in there btw that was in a week ago and the quest has been bugged since the end of december. oh btw if your an sk pet pull will not work. havent tried it with necro pet but i cant see how this will work since if you start the escort without the named to yell the ambush you get no updates so its a sony snafu. I hope they get this fixed soon cause if your like me you have a full set of essences up to tier 5 and cant do squat about it. plz if you complete this mission give us a heads up to how you have done it. and i will most def try it.
