I haven't found this to be a very useful spell. It is easily resisted, doesn't last very long and has a long recast time. Sure, you can fear higher level animals for a brief time which can allow an escape but if there are any others uses I'd love to hear about it.

Is this a new spell due to class reinvisioning? I'd really love to have this. Anyone figure out where to get it yet?
It is being implemented with today's patch. I'm not at all sure of any locations though so any info on that here would be greatly appreciated. I hope to buy all versions of the spell even if I won't use the lower one because I'm a spell **** ;)
I also want to mention (ages later) that I've yet to get this spell as I've never found a need to fear animals at this level. Save your crystals unless you feel the urge to complete your spellbook.
