Mark of Death is 14 disease counters, so you have to sing this for 2 ticks to cure that.
Actually, this song is modified by aa and gear, so it should cure in 1 shot

nm i found him today, he is just left of the shark pit
ok, i used tracking to find this guy and it led me to a little bar with a shark in it , however he was not there even though tracking said he was.... I spent 30 minutes looking for him but no luck, can anyone give me a clue on what i did wrong?
Ok, I just did this and it is very easy if you know what you are doing. At level 40 and with only 2 chants, it took alittle longer then it would a higher level with more chants, but really no more difficult.
Start by invising yourself and going to the tavern. There is a spot you can uninvis at behind the hole in the floor without getting agro and harmony anything that might add. Once you have all the would-be-adds harmo'ed, Charm the Troubadour and walk out to the steps. Tell him to sit and walk a few steps away and then invis yourself again and run to the large kiting area near the entrance, he should follow unchamred with no adds once you invis yourself again. From there you can chant kite him around the large area untill he is dead. You will pick up all the adds that are in the large area, but all you need to do is zone when you kill the Troubadour. Make sure you call it out when you are running to zone, but you should be quick enough to the zone line and the train won't get near it. Zone out and then zone back in invis, go to the body of the Troubadour and loot your book and then walk back out.

Have just headed to Dulak to do this. All previous info seems to be correct. Mob was up, was easy to harmony my way in and single pull the Troubadour, and invis to a safe spot with minimal adds. Unfortunately he didn't have my book, but I have a plan to fill 20 mins (his respawn) involving the words 'swarm' and 'kiting'. Good luck to all doing this - it's an easy solo at 45.
I two-grouped with a monk, doing a little melee but mostly singing haste and cure. I lulled the bar and single pulled the troubador out of it with a snare. Facing the bar, on the right, at the edge of what would be the property line is a little off road area with room for three or four. There is plenty of room there to fight, and, amazingly, it is out of aggro range of the guards who go by even if you are fighting, but be sure to snare so that when they turn they do not leave. I was surprised but the monk had figured it out - no need to invis in this off road patch.
This was advantageous for both of us. I was not able to consider meleeing these mobs - the weakest mobs in the zone I could take with 66% of my health by chanting and meleeing them near the zone line. He was able to get health back fast and cleaned the bar a couple times while waiting for the Troubador. (The timer is faster than 20 minutes now, we killed him 6 times in an hour, I think, the sixth one dropped the book I needed for the turn in.)
This song has really rounded my character out. And with its harder to get mate, the L52 remove curse, I am a chest opening fool in LDoN. There is some seriously good loot in some of those chests, augments, diamonds (and lame potions). The poisons used in the LDoN chests are really strong, and it takes multiple cleric cures, or multiple pulses of this song to get them off.

1. Kill the bard in the Hungry Shark Bar on the south side of Dulak. He can be soloed fairly easily. The best way I found to solo him is to mem SAC, Invis song, and a few dots. Get SAC up, then invis. Walk into the bar and target the bard guy. Walk outside of the bar and then sing a dot on him. Reinvis and walk him to a safe spot where you wont get many adds. Kite until dead. It may help to have a mezz/charm up for adds, but you shouldnt get any if you are invis. He is on a 20 minute timer and doesnt drop the "A Faded, Watermarked Book" each time. I got mine on the 3rd try.
2. Take the Book and see Kardin Nillic in Gunthak. Give him the book and he will tell you to see Evanesque and return a Faded Songbook to you.
3. Head to S. Qeynos to see Mr. Evanesque. Give him the Faded Songbook. He will return to you a "transcribed songbook". He is outside of the bard guild in S. Qeynos.
4. Take the transcribed songbook back to Karadin in Gunthak.
Note the typo when you get the song. Its called Spell: Aria of Asceticism

This is quested for and no drop from the new LoY zones. It involves killing a Broken Skull Minstrel for a no drop book drop that is turned in to an NPC in the entry zone in LoY. You take the resulting book to someone in Erudin and get the no drop spell.

This song would be amazing i seen plenty of stuff saying it on the live game, i have searched and searched for but i cannot find it anywhere.
There is rumours it will be avaliable with the new addon yakesha.
I would so love to have this song on Tallon Zek all of a sudden SK's will not be a problem :D

Apparently this is a brand new song, to replace the Disease & Poison cures we lost when they changed the Psalms to be damage shields... looking at Lucy, the song was added to the Test Server on 12/19, then added to Live Servers on 1/9 (right after you posted, apparently)... most recently verified with the spell data file on 1/15 for live servers.
So, the big question is... where is this song? It's nowhere to be found in Plane of Knowledge, I'm going to go check Erudin, Highkeep, Shar Vahl and all the other bard guilds... I'll post what I find.
