These dont suck at all...

Started using Torrent of Poison awhile back, nice part is I can fire off a couple of those before the mob is dead. Sure, if youre in a low dps group where mobs gonna be up for awhile, use a dot... but these are much better than our nukes and much faster than dots.

It has it's uses. It's far more mana efficient then our other DD lines. 450 mana for (650x3) 1950 damage is not bad at all. Even assuming one wave is resisted, 450 mana for 1300 damage is great compared to 275 mana for 675 damage. (latter is 2.45 damage per mana, roughly, and Tears is 2.88 damage per mana, if one wave is resisted... 4.33 if they all land.)

Granted it is AE, so it's not of much use when soloing and meleeing a mob, but it has it's uses.

This is a relatively mana-efficient way to do damage on PoP mobs. A lot of PoP mobs have high resistances, but they seem to be more susceptible to poison than they are to our other staples, cold and disease. Wait until the mob is down to 50% or so, so it's locked onto the tank and isn't moving any more, then drop this on its head. On a damage-used-to-mana-spent scale, if all three waves land, this would probably be as good as many wizard and mage spells.
