Manna skin uses a peridot not a jasper
dose this protect against lifetap??

is this spell like our manaskin where it drops after so much damage is taken? or does it keep protecting for the duration of the spell?
Works exactly like Manaskin, just 3 times as good and is not self only like Manaskin.
Got one off of "a fierce cragwalker" in Natimbi.

Anyway, this spell consumes a Peridot ( https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=7783 )
Manasink only uses a Jasper, and costs less mana(200), but doesn't last as long(1h,12m), or protect you from as much damage(250).
In general, I'd prefer to have Spellshield on myself, unless I'm just fooling around with greens for some reason.
This is the first combat based buff that is not self only that a wizard has I think (edit at level 4 there is a lame damage sheild). And it is a favourite for protecting tanks from harmtouch so I am told. Admittedly, I have not used it much myself.
