Mass Mystical Transvergence  

Dropped from the named reef crusacean for me today, after tracking entrapped potameids and killing them to get Duara Yeunki to spawn.

as far as comments like this "some mages even lack the total mana to cast it. " which are quite abundant on mages tower, this is flat out sad. im on a server that the best int items in bazaar are coteri general cape, followed by rare bloodweave belts, and then high end jewelry. some research spells are sold (pre LoY server), kei just recently was obtained by the two top guilds, no droppable spells sold in bazaar, not even lodi stuff is available most the times. basically, only way to get any form of good gear is to get it yourself or get it on a raid.

PoG robe, pants, boots, and bracelet, only drops i really have gotten on raids most of the rest i bought/camped/was given, and currently am at 235-240 int unbuffed (qeynos tea availability) and have around 2800 mana. seriously, unless youre on a new server (less than a year old) it is flat out sad to lack the mana for this at 56. if you dont have the mana to cast this, you really need to consider camping some items (group of 50s can handle below camps):
golden efreeti boots (7 int)
the +int bracelet in UP (15 int)
vampires in teneberous mountains drop some nice +int, the named are generally lvl 50, and bloodweave drops there as well which has nice +int
either robe from crystal caverns, they arent necessarily great but its +mana afterall, used it until i got my PoG robe

then if you can get in a PoG group/raid, the mage stuff drops near the zonein anyway off of steeds, it is nice stuff. its the same as kael gear pretty much, so you dont HAVE to go to PoG to get it (good for you tunare high elf mages), any of the kael tattered (?) silk drops + certain gems found in velious (soloable by 56 mage, stuff like sirens grotto, velks, cobalt scar, so on).

as for rod, if you specialized conjuration it will not help you cast this if you lack the mana, you must have 2750 to cast it, afterwards if specialization checks it will refund a % of the mana back. i think i ended up 10% mana leftover after i cast it.

and as mentioned this isnt really a during raid cast, the mana usage is way too large even without agro issues. single out the rods. its certainly more efficient than single version. as long as 8+ people there need the rod (say 6 clerics and a couple chanters) then its more efficient (cost 2800 mana to give singles), plus anyone else who casts like wizards and necros can hang onto them even if they dont regularly use it, not like it costs any extra to hit the wizards with mass version.

with the current regen spell you will be full health by the time you can use the other charges on the rod, with regen 3 and the 58 regen spell you will more than regen the effects. this along with 58 regen makes for a very nice way to get mana back on raids when you cant always canni 49 earths.

This spell is sold in bazaar by the same gnome you buy your bracer spells from.

Mass T-Rod is like a Mass Group Buff spell. It puts a rod on the cursor of everyone within range of the mage. Beware casting it during a fight, because it is considered a beneficial spell and it can generate hella aggro. Best before a raid, then use the single rod version during the raid for those who request.

Notice the mana cost. :) I have 3k mana, so this spell is a major drain, and some mages even lack the total mana to cast it.

It is a dropped spell, unlike the single target version which is bought from Jollum in the bazaar. It drops from WW dragons, Seblis mobs, Chardok Mobs, general 50s stuff. Fairly common drop, so your best bet is just buy it in the bazaar - usually under 100pp.
