I tried the recipe as described (Blood of Avoling) and got "Blood of Avoling", so, the information given in the notes here is no longer correct. I do not know what the correct recipe is (yet), but it is not the one listed by others here...

At last check, this recipe was known to be buggy. I haven't heard any updates to indicate otherwise yet. I also haven't heard of a working in-game recipe for this spell as of yet.
The reciepe for Talisman uf Unity RK. II.... is actually the receipe for Blood of Avoling RK. II Shaman Level 85,

What is the benefit of Rk II over Rk I?
It's generally a small boost in HPs or stats given; in the case of mammoth's strength it's another % of damage dealt, and in the case of foresight, it's an increased chance of avoidance. Basically, Rank 2 of Unity gives the Rank 2 version of each of the 4 buffs it triggers, so you can look at the individual spells to see the difference.

Actually got 2 to drop back to back in Toskirakk in the gazebo area. Can't confirm off of boars or soldiers though. Also had it drop in field of scale. All in all... seems pretty common.
Can anyone confirm this spell drops off a Pustulant Cadaver in Oceangreen? However rare, I can't believe anything in this zone would drop this spell.

When they had the SoD preview zones, this was marked as an 81 spell, so it would have dropped in those zones. Now that it's marked correctly at 85, it should only drop in the higher level zones.
Actually, that is incorrect. I have had alot of the 85 lvl spells drop in OGH. Including HoG and Unity as late as August of 2010. I don't think they ever changed the loot tables for these zones, just the lvl of spells.
