i"M fighting mobs in the caves in W L none of my spells stuck to them used this then my spells worked ,i use this first to pull them

I get Mobs in TBS and such casting this at me all the time. Will cancel magic negate it? I'm thinking so, just haven't tried it yet...

Hey Killabear, you're right, slow has a zero 0 magic resist check, it has a disease resist check. If you dont beleive me, slow yourself and then cast remove disease and see if it doesnt remove it. Cast this first.

Actually you can have a spell that is a check on one resist, but a counter on another. And yes shammies have both slows that are checked on magic and slows that are checked on disease, the best of which are checked on magic.

mage cast this asap, it doesnt have high agro (can easily pull with it), so if it does hit before slow it should help slow land.

I honestly don't see the point of it most times. Both the lvl 51 slow spell and this one have a magic resist check of 0, which means either the slow or this spell are equally likely to land. so instead of casting this spell first, you might as well take your chances with slow (which you usually need asap) and then cast malo second.

Things aren't the way they were back in 2004 or 2005. Trash mobs can easily hit for upwards of 3k a hit. Slow needs to land asap if you want to keep the tank alive. Named mobs in SoF expansion can easily hit for more then 3k and very fast too. Level 80 some what gimpy monk was getting hit for a little over 6k at max hit by a squire in crystallos. Those are single groupable. If your a shaman and have the aa slow try it right away. If it doesn't work then try to use your favorite debuff and retry but otherwise always cast it first.

sorry just read this post and just dont agree with what u are saying about it dont matter which you cast first whether it be a slow or a malosi. I have played most classes, malosi is best to get on immediatly. Slow effects to classes, cleric and the tank, while the malo will effect the entire party to be able to land higher dam there for saving the cleric mana becuase mob dies faster. and will allow for the slow to land alot easier. just my opinion though
