It's tragic, what happened with Narius, but that's what happens when you don't keep a grip on things. In any case, we still have a problem. The Scions are scattered, but Kyle Bayle's undead soldiers are massing up near the top of the tower. This could be bad. Did you have a plan for stopping Bayle? A small [strike team] or a large [raid force]?' You say, 'I have a raid force' Deidre Harath says 'Very well, I shall escort you to the top of the tower. Tell me when you are [ready] to depart.' You say, 'Ready!' LOADING, PLEASE WAIT... You have entered Tower of Rot - The Fall. Triggering the Event Say "fight" to trigger the event. You say, 'Hail, Lord Kyle Bayle' Lord Kyle Bayle's gaze remains transfixed on the dirty stained glass window as he speaks, 'Given how quickly you were able to cut down Kanteer I knew it was simply a matter of time before your army breached the walls of my sanctum.' He breathes heavily and releases an audible sigh, 'I do owe you a debt of gratitude for expunging this land of the corruption that has taken hold of my subordinates. Now I fear that I must ask what it is you hope to accomplish by raiding my tower.' You admit that you are [here to take the Qeynos Claymore]. You say, 'We're here to take the Qeynos Claymore' Lord Kyle Bayle looks closely at his blade before turning his focus to you. He speaks with a disinterested sense of melancholy you might attribute to his undead form, 'You seek the heirloom of my lineage, the holy rite of my father and his father before him? You are clearly no common bandit, so there is no doubt that someone tasked you with this quest for a greater purpose. I fear that you know as well as I do that I will not simply hand such a treasure over. We must [fight], but I, like you, will not fight alone.' You say, 'Time to fight!' Lord Kyle Bayle clasps his mighty blade with both hands and smiles, 'Very well, _____.' With a mighty swing of his blade Lord Kyle Bayle knocks the small braziers that sit atop the center table over. The ancient furniture turns to kindling and then to ash in the blink of an eye! Overview The following mechanics are in place for the entire event. Lord Kyle Bayle Lord Kyle Bayle hits for a max ~50,000. His other abilities vary according to what phase the event is on. Leash Ranges Lord Kyle Bayle; Arch Mage Harron; Captain Whiteson; and High Priest Belyea are leashed to the main room (the raised area in which you find Lord Kyle Bayle). Other event adds do NOT have a leash range (can go anywhere in the zone). Weight of Rot While the event is active, everyone in the zone is affected with "Weight of Rot". This effect is not removable. It reduces duration of detrimental spells (including root, mez, and charm), reduces melee haste, blocks critical spell damage, blocks endurance regeneration, and inhibits mana preservation effects. You will need to manage mana and endurance very carefully in this event, or you'll run out before it's over with no way to recover. Crowd Control When a player casts a mez, a root, a snare, or a charm, they are inflicted with "Silence of _____" (where the 'blank' is Mesmerization, Root, Snare, or Charm, respectively). This effect prevents the player from casting another spell of that type. The "Silence of _____" cannot be removed by any normal means; however, any time "a royal _____" add is killed, all inflicted players will be cured of their silences. Lord Kyle Bayle: 100% to 75% Lord Kyle Bayle casts the emote-based "Claymore Crush" (significant melee inhibitor for 60 seconds -- back away to avoid): Emote: Lord Kyle Bayle raises his ancient claymore high overhead. 8-second Warning To: Lord Kyle Bayle swings his ancient claymore with frightening force! He spawns 4x "a royal _____" adds at 90% health. These adds, if killed, have a respawn timer of 45 seconds. Lord Kyle Bayle: 75% to 50% At 75%, Arch Mage Harron; Captain Whiteson; and High Priest Belyea join the encounter: Lord Kyle Bayle shouts 'You fight well, but I am not surprised that it has come to this. Harron, Belyea, Whitson, your presence is required!' These three mini-nameds must be balanced within 11% of each other's health. Failure to do so results in an emote and a permanent power-up: Lord Bayle's advisors are renewed by your imbalanced onslaught. The "a royal _____" adds from the first phase do NOT respawn during this phase, so you can kill them and not have to worry about them while these mini-names are up. Lord Kyle Bayle is NOT active for this portion of the event. For every 10-15% health the mini-nameds collectively lose, you get two add types (details in the add section below): 90% - champion + crusader 75% - disciple + blackguard 65% - beguiler + convoker 50% - champion + crusader 35% - disciple + blackguard 20% - beguiler + convoker 5% - champion + crusader Arch Mage Harron Casts "Riotous Servant" every 60 to 90 seconds (pet summon). Casts targeted 40' range AE "Telekaria" every 20 to 40 seconds (nuke for 92,000 dmg + 3-second stun). Buffed with "Harron's Protection" (reduces incoming spell damage by 90%). High Priest Belyea Casts targeted 80' range AE "Mark of Nife" every 60 to 80 seconds (5-minute debuff: 2,000-point reverse damage shield; negates damage shield effects; 50 curse counters; if cured, the curer received 60-second silence to free-target spells). Buffed with "Belyea's Protection" (reduces all forms of incoming damage by 45%). Captain Whitson Casts single-target "Time to Bleed" every 40 to 60 seconds (90-second debuff: increases incoming melee damage by 20% and negates melee mitigation effects). Buffed with "Whitson's Protection" (reduces incoming melee damage by 90%). Lord Kyle Bayle: 50% to 25% Once the three mini-names are dead, Lord Kyle Bayle attacks again: Lord Kyle Bayle shouts 'It does surprise me that my strongest advisors fell to your forces faster than that fool Kanteer. Perhaps calling for only half of my reinforcements was a mistake!' At this time, the four "a royal _____" adds from the first phase start respawning again, and an additional 4x "a royal _____" appear at some point (towards 50% health: The undying remains of the rest of Kyle's royal guards materialize around the table. All eight of these "royal" adds have respawn timers of 45 seconds. At 25% health, 2x "a fallen _____" spawn (these do NOT respawn when killed): Lord Kyle Bayle grasps his ancient claymore tightly in both hands and shouts, 'Spirits of this dead land! Relinquish the souls of my soldiers and give me the strength to finish this battle!' The tower shakes with sinister purpose as the restless souls of Kyle's fallen soldiers are reanimated. Lord Kyle Bayle: 25% to 4% The "a royal _____" adds still respawn during this phase, if killed (45-second respawn timer). During this phase, Lord Kyle Bayle single-target rampages and AE rampages. Every 75 seconds AND at 20%, 15%, 10%, and 5% health, 2x "a fallen _____" adds spawn (these adds do NOT respawn when killed). Lord Kyle Bayle: 4% to the Death Kyle Bayle remains locked at 5% health until all adds are dead: Lord Kyle Bayle staggers back, a look of desperation overtaking his face, 'Royal guardians, faithful soldiers, lend me what remains of your power!' The royal guardians have sacrificed their power of reanimation in order to shield Lord Bayle. "a royal _____" adds stop respawning at this point. 2x "a fallen _____" continue spawning every 75 seconds until all adds have been killed and Lord Kyle Bayle's health is unlocked. Once all adds are dead, you can kill Lord Kyle Bayle for the win.
