On handing in a polar bear skin and 5pp:

There is no faction reward for completing the quest.

Karg's dialogues are currently broken. Asking him about Pelts? does not return any dialogue and none of his opening dialogue is in parenthesis for clues.

I ve been giving to Karg Icebear 5pp with the polar bear skin, and nothing. He took the money but didn't give anything. I did the same thing a second time, and nothing ??? give some gold p --> nothing ?? can anybody help me with that quest

I found Karg Icebear twice, directly opposite from Bandl Mcmarrin (keep running straight, down to the valley and up again, where the baby mammoths hang out. The time I found him on both occasions was 5/6pm eq time. I also saw his brother Martar Icebear there as well in the morning eq time, however he didn't like me very much to say the least :p.

After weeks of carrying around polar bear skins and looking for this guy, i finally ran into Karg. Of course i didn't have my skins with me. Went back to bank and found him again near Megan's tower. Got 2 cloaks, but not really worth all the hassle.

I got one for free!

Somebody actually gave me one of these things for free. I didn't need the cold resist so it got replaced, but I still have it in bank just in case. I started a Beastlord a few days ago, and everyday people run around /shouting Anyone see Karg? Guess there's a lot of people who think they need +15 cold resist because none of them are usually high enough to have killed a werewolf or scraped up the loot to buy the pelt for Kargs 'other' cool cloak.

I was talking to someone and they told me about a "good" karg and an "evil" karg. Is this true? Can anyone give me any other hints to finding this karg guy? BTW what is this Einhorst quest?

Is Karg a triggered spawn and if he is does anyone know the trigger? I pesonally have never seen him and have tried traking for 3 days .

I just did the quest last night and it worked fine, someone shouted that he was around, i ran over to the north tower and to the icy river, looked down and sure enough karg icebear was running right towards me, i hailed him a few times and he stopped, i gave him 5 plat and white polar bear skin, and he gave me the cloak.

granted this is only a polar bear cloak, and not cloak of the ice bear which i believe you have to kill martar for.

I'm guessing that the original poster has figured out who this Eihorst guy is and what his related quest is. For those who are wondering still: he is the go-to guy for the lion meat and clover leaf shipment quests. The details are posted under the respective quests. I will however mention that he is in West Karana in the fishing village there. To find him go south at the first guard tower, you'll pass another guard tower. He is in the middle shack on the shore.

i am in a cave in everfrot but the map on eq atlas doesnt look the same .Am i in te right place?I same under water for a long time then came up on this place.Been waiting fo a bear to show up so i can kil him what place am i at?

It took me 6 times to get the Polar Bear Cloak.
I gotta admit it was well worth the effort because the cloak is the best item in my inventory.

I have been hunting in Everfrost for a week or so and see Karg at least 1 or 2 times per day while hunting mammoths. Find a ranger with good tracking spells and kill mammoths with them until they see him pop. It's your best bet and you will usually at least make money while waiting :)

Could i do this once (to get it as a present for my Paladin GF) and then come back and do it again to pick one up for me?

Also can anyone do this, or must i get factin with some group up to a certain point, and if so, how.
