At the end of the previous quest, Lord Gikzic said it was for another Lord of Pain to decide whether you would wield the knight's khukri. Lord Korzin may be found at +1060, -170 (in the same room with Gikzic).

    You say, 'Hail, Lord Korzin'

Lord Korzin says 'What is it you seek? Eternal suffering?'

You say, 'I seek eternal suffering.'

Lord Korzin says, 'Then follow the words of Cazic-Thule and may his blessed curses rain upon your soul as they shall on all of his faithful servants.'

You say, 'i accept the calling'

Lord Korzin says, 'As if you had a choice. Seek out the tower of Kurn and find the Skull of Torture. You should be able to easily recognize this skull as it glows with the power of Cazic-Thule. Return it to me with your squire's khukri and I shall reward you with the knight's khukri. Go at once.'

Go to Kurn's Tower and loot A Glowing Skull (identifies as "The Skull Of An Undead Cook") from various scalebone skeletons. It's TEMPORARY, so don't camp until you've finished the quest. Hand it in.

Lord Korzin says 'You will be rewarded with the knight's khukri when I have possession of your squire's khukri and the Skull of Torture.'

    Turn in:

Lord Korzin says 'Excellent work! You are no squire. You are now a knight of the crusaders. Your next step shall be zealot. And every zealot wields a magical khukri.'

Your faction standing with Crusaders Of Greenmist has been adjusted by 10.
Your faction standing with Legion of Cabilis has been adjusted by 2.
You receive 1 gold from Lord Korzin.
You receive 1 platinum from Lord Korzin.

    You receive your Knight's Khukri.

I had earlier looted the no rent skull and turned it in for the skull of torture, and then foolishly just read the in-game quest text and thought "oh, well I already have that item" and turned in my sword and skull and he took the sword but handed the skull back. I had to figure out what was wrong and then frantically rush over to kurn's and farm a glowing skull. Was a blood pressure event I probably don't really need at this stage of life.

Human Shadow knight of Innoruuk (aradune) did this real easy fast at 60. Go to kurns tower and kill every skeleton upstairs and in the basement until you see glowing skull. I believe only the "scalebones" can drop the skull. Took me about 10 min of killing. Could not figure out the quest giver's keyword. seems to have been changed or broken. "I accept the calling" advanced the quest, though i guess you could skip the optional talk and just hand him the skull and kukri.

Doing this again on Progression server. I could not get this guy to talk to me. The correct phrase i used (at level 15) was: "What skull of torture" then "I accept the calling" then i was able to turn in the skull and get this part of the quest done.

I know it's been a long time since anyone posted in this thread, and I'm not sure folks still do this quest, but...

The instructions given are " Lord Korzin says 'As if you had a choice. Seek out the tower of Kurn and find the Skull of Torture. " It doesn't specify what kind of mob to kill or where; while it can indeed drop from the scalebone skels, it isn't limited to skeletons alone...I've had it drop from a Burynai before. So, my suggestion is to slaughter everything that moves, and you'll have a better chance of getting your drop.Smiley: wink

Give him your Squire's Khukri. Is there another way to get the following text short of handing in the khukri? Doing it this way allows someone else to multiquest it, so you may want to hand everything in at once below.

The hand in should be with the skull at the final turn in. The trigger words are knight's khukri.

You say, 'I wish to wield the knight's khukri.'

Lord Korzin says 'You will be rewarded with the knight's khukri when I have possession of your squire's khukri and the Skull of Torture.'

I finally found a glowing skull afer 2hours of running around and slaughtering everything. U would think a rare drop like this would drop somewhere difficult like the basement... but after running around with a 60 clr and killing 15 mobs in one ae spell like upheavel for an hour i went up stairs and found one within an hour all the way upstairs
    Easy quest

My 57 sk gnome got A Glowing Skull within about 30 mins, from a lessor charbone skel, in the basement of Kurn's Tower.

    Good luck,

God, that was easy. Spent only 2 hours on the froglok raiders, then I waltzed in Kurn's and headed for the Jester - I camp him when I'm bored and need other stuff in Kurn's. Before I could even get there I had the skull.

Just looted it from a greater scalebone in the hallway of the barracks area. BTW I tried to multiquest this by turning in the glowing skull that my iksar shaman had, then my SK turned in the squire's khukri. It didn't work.
    HA!

Ok, don't waste time in the basement, if you are only lvl 14, the mobs will mop the basement with you. I found multiple glowing skulls upstairs with all the skellies. Start there, if nothing else, good XP, money and bonechips.

I just got the last of my 10 pages and tried combining them in the tome and what message do I get? "You cannot combine these items in a container of this type!" umm ok I spent 3 days camping them with my ranger to get all 9 pages and the tome that drop and try to combine and it gives me an error. This is BS! "/petition..."

Check your pages, all but one is a lore item, you might have gotten 2 of the non-lore one.

I been redoing the shaman quest, with the goal of having 2 cudgels, waiting on the undead crusader is long. but if you are up stairs near the dinning room, (the room with the round table) one of those skelly's (usally an lesser icebone) has been droping this skull repeatedly.

Hey, believe it or not, but today, I was leaving Kurn's and there was a greater scalebone as one of the guards in the VERY FRONT, the entrance to Kurn's. The greater scalebone was one of the two guards, I killed him, and yes, he dropped a glowing skull. It dropped right at the zone entrance. So it is possible to get this item from anywhere in zone, not just certain floors.
    Damn the torpedos!

I HATE SK QUESTS! That is it. I give up. Today, I got my glowing skull, and went to turn it in, and HANDED IT TO THE WRONG GUY! Poof! No more Khukri! No more glowing skull. The whole Froglock quest was just a waste of time! I have totally abandoned all hope in doing these quests. Why would I totally go and redo every quest just to get a weapon that I don't even use? To get the epic? Ya right, nobody has it! It is probably just another damn Khukri! LOL I asked the GM for a little help in getting my Squire's Khukri back, and he said "You should be more careful" and vanished! Thanks for all the help Verant! Let me pay an increased price to get NO HELP!!! ehhhh... back to RZ... maybe I'll just PK...
    Bah!

At lvl 3 some guy came up to me with a FS weapon and said, "here, this is better than what you got." So I, being the newbie that i was, destroyed my knaves khurki.
Fast forward to lvl 51 and the prostpect of the Greenmist. I started doing the quest today and had to do the 2nd quest twice cause i forgot to combine the pages before i turned them in..hehe, i am a smart one =P.
Now to the fun part..i spent 5 hours in Kurns killing every skelle that moved...at 51 that's a lot of freakin skelles..pretty much all of them. No glowing skull though, lots of brittle skulls, but no Glowing Skulls! Arghhhhh!!!!
Oh well, i just had to vent. Time to rest up so I can get back to killing them tomorrow.
    Skulls Drop
    # Feb 01 2002 at 6:05 PM Rating: Decent
Just to reaffirm this the skull drops anywhere of Greater scalebones, you don't even really have to camp it just shout "Im looking for the skull that drops off the scalebones" and youll get a tell in under a hour...
    i got one
    # Nov 25 2001 at 2:44 PM Rating: Decent
I just got a glowing skull and it took me all of 20 minutes. The skull can actually be found on Greater Scalebones in the Tower of Kurn. I found mine on a Greater Scalebone at the top of the tower.
    RE: Verant really hates us!
    # Nov 24 2001 at 12:39 PM Rating: Default
hehehe. I agree, Verant hates us SK. Giving us a stupid 10 hour quest for lvl 12!! Anyway, I got a nice lvl 40 SK in there to camp the pages and I only need one more :))))))). Another thing that sucks is that after collecting 10 pages I discovered that theyy were lore and I kept getting doubles. Now it'll take me longer.

    WTB Hero's Khukri!!

I've been on for four hours trying to get this glowing skull.. someone told me it dropped off the cook (doh). Oh well, I better keep trying, and I'm not too disappointed since I got a shield of kurn while camping cook for no reason ;).
