Mimics in Runnyeye?

What happened to the mimics at the runnyeye bank? Are they not in during Kunark, I killed a bunch there while semi afk doing other stuff on Oakwynd but I guess that must have been during Velious or Luclin.

Looking for them on Teek and they don't appear to be in game yet.

Wondering if making a person and using the tutorial when it opens will share the achieve with your main?
Plants and Barrels Are Also In Undershore

I've found 5 plants with a reasonably fast respawn time (not the 40 second of the budding mindspores, but under 5 minutes).

There are also about 20 barrels in the zone - in the Shillskin main fort, outside the fort on the east shore, 2 in the area outside the south bridge, and 3 in Jarzarrad's building. The respawn on the barrels is longer (about 15 minutes).

But it's something to do while you ae down those shrooms.

Undershore with the spore things by Freemind Cipher is not a viable option for early era TLPs. A 1k nuke only did around 5-6% damage from a 70 mage.

You don't do the mission - you just kill the 5 shrooms that pop next to Freemind, who is the giver of the mission.

This is the last in the list and they saved the sickener till last. If the gods quest only requires 100 kills, why make these rare non agro targets require 5000? Bad sense of humour.

Anyway, I settled for the vases in Shards Landing. Stand in middle of hut then "/pet attack a poorly crafted vase". It's up to you how you press that button over 4000 times. I put in the drip feed and catheter. ;-)

This is was the best spot for me. If you are at 0 on this one, it will only take 13.89 hours to complete. Took me about 11 since I had some previously done. Use an AoE spell and setup a gaming keyboard or the like to just autocast every 40 seconds which is the mushrooms spawn timer.

Though I finished this a while ago (see Oct 28 2013 post) I've subsequently tried my Banestrike on lots of animated objects, and it still tells me I have "not mastered slaying that race". Bah!

The achievement gives you the title, nothing more. It will not allow you to banestrike inanimate objects.

This was the LAST slay I got. The place I found best was Shards Landing in the Forsaken Village. There are urns at one hut and a field of Skulls behind another tent. By the time you make a round, the first ones are respawning. Only issue is one roaming rat near the skulls that respawns about every 10.5 Minutes.

I found CR to be pretty good. At loc -726, -2079 in the yard I was able to see 2 mushrooms near a rock and a third one down the hill a little towards the zone wall. I was able to F8 to target them and then use a baby spell to kill. There were many drakes nearby so by the time I killed 2 or 3 of them the mushrooms were re-spawning. Their corpses rot pretty fast so only target issue is maybe one. If you use a mouse it is still easy to target if u just go for the tops of them rather than the stalks. But F8 will auto target any non-player mob in front of you, if you accidently get a puma or bear just nuke it and repeat, the mushroom with target.

hit

also in addition to cr stone hive has several spawns in the front court yard as well - a little
faster plus you can take care of your shorter people ach and your living plants as well :)

The animated chests in Plane of Mischief count for this, but they're randomly scattered around the halls.

Another source I've used is the ore chests found throughout the burynai area in Underquarry. (Of course, having "grown up" around Cabilis, I'm always happy for an excuse to slaughter more burynai, too!)

Coral fins in Stoneroot Falls count toward this achievement, and you can get 20 or more in a round. You'll need to use /hidecorpse though, as the already opened coral look exactly the same as the live ones. The witheran in the area and those that pop out of the opened coral will count towards Stop Dragon This Out, and you can hit up the nearby drachnid fort for A Web of Lies while waiting on respawns.

Best place I found for this was in Crescent Reach. "a hollows mushroom" has a respawn time of 30 seconds...

Agreed, Crescent Reach is far and away the best place for this. There's a spot at -670.88, -2107.63, where you can stand between two "a hollows mushroom" and be in range of both. I set up a hotkey with:

/pause 5,/target a_hollows_mushroom
/pause 5,/open
/hidecorpse all

where the last line means you won't end up targetting a dead mushroom the next time. The respawn is slightly longer than 30 seconds, but with the two of them I was able to fire off the hotkey once every 19 seconds and burned through the achievement in about a day.

The big attackable mushrooms by the sporali farmers count for this. However, there aren't many of them nor do they respawn very quickly.
Where to go to repeat kill?

I was wondering if anyone knew where there is a good place to repeat kill for this task - I need a place with a fast respawn rate and a few items I can target and arrow shot to destroy. I could then just use my /target & /autofire hotkey to rip through the 5000 I need - the supply barrels in Undershore spawn too slow. I'm up to 250 count on this with those.
