This is a Frostfell task (available only in December and very early January for the holiday season). It begins with Santug Claugg`s Helper, who is found found by the main bank in the Plane of Knowledge.
The minimum level to request this task may be 50 (scales to level up to 100). You say, 'Hail, Santug Claugg`s Helper' Santug Claugg`s Helper says 'Hmmm? Sorry, no [Frostfell] dis year, it look like.' You say, 'Frostfell?' Santug Claugg`s Helper says 'Me sent da gobbies to dat new place wit da [braxi]ses, to catch some, but only one ob da [ships] comed back. And den da braxises got loose. Da gobbies is habin' truble catching dems.' You say, 'Braxi?' Santug Claugg`s Helper says 'You seen dem, right? Da braxi is der most bootifullest critures! Me wants dem for pulling da sled, but da gobbies is havin' trouble. Widout da braxi, dere be no Frostfell dis year. [Wudd] you help?' You say, 'I wudd help.' Santug Claugg`s Helper says 'You want help us? Dat's great! Please, go find da gobbies and helps dem!' You have been assigned the task 'Braxi Roundup'. You say, 'What ships?' Santug Claugg`s Helper says 'Me heard 'room-more' dat da udder ship sinked. Me hope dem gobbies is ok.' Task Steps Speak with a Gigglegibber Goblin 0/1 (Level-Based Zone) Return to Santug Claugg's Helper 0/1 (Plane of Knowledge) Speak to Zoptik and see what he wants 0/1 (Plane of Knowledge) Deliver 1 Trader's Satchel to Zoptik 0/1 (Plane of Knowledge) Deliver 2 Sharkskin Tubing to Zoptik 0/2 (Plane of Knowledge) Deliver 1 Rod of Mystical Transvergence to Zoptik 0/1 (Plane of Knowledge) Deliver 1 Mana Battery - Class One to Zoptik 0/1 (Plane of Knowledge) Deliver 1 Vial of Viscous Mana to Zoptik 0/1 (Plane of Knowledge) Kill 8 hungry predators 0/8 (Level-Based Zone) Use the Braxi Encapsulator Device on _____ braxi 0/1 (Level-Based Zone) Return the Braxi Encapsulator Device to a Gigglegibber Goblin 0/1 (Level-Based Zone) Speak with Santug Claugg's Helper 0/1 (Plane of Knowledge) Level 96-100 - Target mobs are found in Beasts' Domain. --- "a harrowed Gigglegibber goblin" is found at the zone-in to Sarith in the extreme southwestern corner of the zone. --- "a skiddish braxi" and "a hungry predator" are found all over the central and northern sections of the zone. Level 91-95 - Target mobs are found in Sarith, City of Tides. --- "shipwrecked Gigglegibber goblin" is found at the far southwestern part of the dock area, overlooking the sea. --- "a bedraggled braxi" and "a hungry predator" are found all over the zone. Level 86-90 - Target mobs are found in Feerrott, the Dream. --- "shipwrecked Gigglegibber goblin" is found on the coast of the river, just east of the fork in the river (around /location -40, 340) --- "a bedraggled braxi" and "a hungry predator" are found all along and around the river the forks through the middle of the zone. Level 81-85 - Target mobs are found in Brell's Rest. --- "a harrowed Gigglegibber goblin" is found in the far southeastern part of the zone, east of the waterfall overlooking the lake. --- "a skiddish braxi" and "a hungry predator" are found all over the zone. Level 76-80 - Target mobs are found in the Loping Plains. --- "shipwrecked Gigglegibber goblin" is found by the mouth of the river on the western side of Bloodmoon Keep. --- "a bedraggled braxi" and "a hungry predator" are found along the river that stretches north-to-south in the middle of the zone. Level 71-75 - Target mobs are found in Oceangreen Village. --- "shipwrecked Gigglegibber goblin" are found near the coast (one known location is just due south of the village). --- "a bedraggled braxi" and "a hungry predator" are found all over the zone. Level 61-70 - Target mobs are found in the Barren Coast. --- "shipwrecked Gigglegibber goblin" is found in the central part of the zone at about /location 350, -275 (northeast of the trader NPC camp and southeast of the large lake in the north). --- "a bedraggled braxi" and "a hungry predator" are found all over the zone. Level 50-60 - Target mobs are found in Natimbi, the Broken Shores. --- "shipwrecked Gigglegibber goblin" is found in the zone-in/port-in area. --- "a bedraggled braxi" and "a hungry predator" are confined to the land mass enclosed by water in the central part of the zone, as well as the port-in area. Task In Detail After getting the task, Step #1 will send you to speak with one of the Gigglegibber goblins: You say, 'Hail, a harrowed Gigglegibber Goblin' a harrowed Gigglegibber Goblin says 'Santug's Helper sent you to help us?' It eyes you critically, 'Hmm, no good as bait. Braxi like leafy things.' It scratches an ear thoughtfully for a moment and finally says, 'You go back to Santug's Helper. Tell him we need stronger ropes and equipment to keep the braxi under control.' Step #2 returns you to Santug Claugg`s Helper: You say, 'Hail, Santug Claugg`s Helper' Santug Claugg`s Helper says 'Dey gobbies already has all da rope we gots.' He starts to turn away, dejectedly, when a nearby Gnome pipes up excitedly, ' Did you say you need to [catch] something?!' You say, 'We need to catch something? Santug Claugg`s Helper says 'Dat Gnomie seem to fink he can help, but I dunno. You go see what he wants?' Step #3 tells you to find and speak with Zoptik, who stands nearby at 345, 370, -123. You say, 'Hail, Zoptik' Zoptik says 'Does Santug's Helper need a little help himself? I've got a device I use back home all the time to catch faedrakes. I bet with a little fine tuning, though, I could [build] one that would work on braxi!' You say, 'Can you build one?' Zoptik says 'Well, I don't carry all the necessary components on me at all times, but I do have a small supply of tools and parts, as it happens,' he indicates a toolbox near his feet, nearly as large as himself, 'I'll only need a [few] things.' You say, 'What few things?' Zoptik says 'Let's see,' he begins sorting through his collection, 'So we'll need a bag, and the rod, and of course the mana - oh! And I'm out of tubing, it looks like.' He stands up abruptly and turns to you, 'Alright, to make this simple, I'll write it down somewhere for you - ah! That journal-looking thing you have should work!' This opens up Steps #4-8 (deliver steps). The Trader's Satchel is bought from Merchant Tekrama in the Bazaar. "Sharkskin Tubing" (x2) can be bought from Engineer Beri and Tabben Bromal in the Plane of Knowledge (findable via CTRL+F) for 142pp. "Rod of Mystical Transvergence" can be summoned by Level 56+ Magicians. "Mana Battery - Class One" can be bought from Maryalis N`Ryt or Nelin Signus in the Plane of Knowledge (findable via CTRL+F) for 11pp. "Vial of Viscous Mana" is summoned by Level 11+ Enchanters (Spell: Thicken Mana) - requires components Pearl and Poison Vial (common vendor items). Alternatively, this can be crafted via spell research (102 trivial) by combining 1x Celestial Essence + 1x Coalesced Mana + 2x Pearl + 1x Poison Vial. After delivering the requested items to Zoptik, the task updates and you see: Zoptik says 'Tada! The Braxi Encapsulator is complete! Just remember to be careful with it. If you do accidentally drop it in lava, or a troll stomps on it, you can always return to me and I'll attempt to craft you another.' You receive a "Braxi Encapsulator Device". Does anyone know what expansion this quest becomes available on TLPs? I'm hoping its before the Rain of Fear xpac. Looks like the earliest would be Gates of Discord for the Natimbi location, but I didn't see the quest NPC on Yelinak. We were at the end of DoDH during Frostfell event.

after using the Braxi Encapsulator on 8 Skiddish Braxi the task (step 10) completed in my quest window. However I had to catch one more braxi with the device as the Goblin would not accept the device back- So I had to use the device on one more braxi and it completed the task and went to step 12 (to speak to Santug Claugg's helper)
It does that sometimes, it only happens to me when I click to fast on the bag.
But you can also use the bag twice and I notice it happens more often on the second go round. Might just get new bag

Why is there no 1H slashing or 1H piercing aug??? And there are multiple H2H and 2H augs? This makes no sense to my warrior brain.... Is there a way to convert them?

Decided to do this for the decorations on a couple level 90 characters. Frostfell 2019. Both were given Sarith, City of Tides. So I think Dream would be 84-89, Sarith 90-94, etc.

Is this the only quest with the armor ornaments as a reward? If so, I guess it must be repeated over and over to get the full set?

Last year, this task offered the Frostfell armor ornaments. This year, it offers the same weapon ornaments you can buy in the Marketplace. I've been waiting an entire year for the armor ornaments to be available again, but now they offer something I can just buy without bothering to do this task, and the armor is not available even in the marketplace. Highly unfair and inconsiderate.

You can now get the new (2015 new) Frigid Frostfell Armor Ornaments items doing this quest.
There are 28 new rewards to chose from :
- 7 different rewards for plate ornaments
- 7 different rewards for chain ornaments
- 7 different rewards for leather ornaments
- 7 different rewards for cloth ornaments
So if you want all of one set, you're bound to do the quest 7 times :)
There is also a player flag now associated with all the weapon ornaments that reads "Have received Frostfell 2011 quest reward". don't know yet if it serves any purpose

You can repeat this quest, but you get only a tiny amount of xp and coin after the first time, no more ornamentations

Do you have any idea what Quest should I keep working for more Ornaments??
I've hailed all 3 goblins in Beast's Domain and the quest won't update. I'm not invis and I do have the quest. Any ideas?

so where would the hungry predators be located in Beast's Domain. i've tried to look for them close to the sarith zone line. anyone know where they would be??
A tracker would probably be helpful, but one jumped me near the Druid ring. As far as I can tell it was the only mob in the zone to see thru invis.

Was looking for him earlier, looks like he is in Feerott this year. Doesn't say Feerott, the dream in questy box so I am assuming its the lowie zne feerott. Has anyone found?

He is up the river side in Brell's Rest
The shipwrecked goblin is located at the fork of the river, around that area.
The easiest way I've found to get the mobs if just to join an HS group, the temple have many hungry predators, then invisin around the zone there are plenty of Braxi to find.

Santug Claugg`s Helper says 'Dat Gnomie seem to fink he can help, but I dunno. You go see what he wants?'

After delivering the requested items to Zoptik the quest is updated and he says: Zoptik says 'Tada! The Braxi Encapsulator is complete! Just remember to be careful with it. If you do accidentally drop it in lava, or a troll stomps on it, you can always return to me and I'll attempt to craft you another.'
When you hand the Braxi Encapsulator to a goblin it says: a harrowed Gigglegibber Goblin snatches the Braxi Encapsulator Device from you with a grin, 'Santug Claugg's Helper will be happy with this news! You go tell him now, yes?' The goblin clutches the device with one greedy hand while shooing you away with another. (Brell's Rest)
When you hail Santug Claugg's Helper at the end he says: Hooray! Frostfell has been saved! Santug Claugg`s Helper picks you up with his sweaty ogre arms and twirls you around gleefully, 'Yooz saved Frostfell! Hurray!'
Reward included Experience, Platinum and a choice of Snowstorm Weapon Ornaments.
