Rupkerr #1: An Expedition Gone Awry

Did this tonight with my 3 box crew, and saw something interesting.... I went through about 20-22 corpses with no book, was starting to wonder if the mission was broken. Then I finally got a book from the next corpse. And then, the next two corpses also had books!!! So, is there code to say, make you wait for the books, but once they do come, spawn them for all the group on the next x corpses? Or was it just really strange, streaky luck?

My Pally was just granted this mission at Level 80, refused at 79, thought I'd share.

As to XP I at 20% to AA I went from AA - 96% / Main - 9% to you have gained 3 AA / 50% and Main 16%

Not at all shabby!

I can't find the update spot... does ITU keep you from getting it? I ran a grid in the NE corner and still nothing....

I got 108 Plat for completion. Also got 3% reg exp at level 86, with 100% into reg. exp.

Rupkerr says 'A group of my fellow frogloks ventured out this way ages ago, with the intention of exploring the Feerrott and collecting [information] on how the jungle has changed since our time in Innothule.'

Rupkerr says 'We haven't had a report back since they first ventured this way; many fear the worst. I'm afraid I can't navigate this terrain well on my own. A helping hand won't go unrewarded. What do you say; will you [help] me find my missing kin?'

You have been assigned the task 'An Expedition Gone Awry'.

Rupkerr says 'According to my findings, the expedition crew was traveling northeast through the Feerrott. See if you can locate the crew, or recover any information on their whereabouts.'

You explore the undead ruins in the northeast part of the zone and loot a Tattered Expedition Journal from a froglok corpse which seem has about a 5 minute respawn rate. They are hard to target so you have to /target a_froglok to target them and then /open on thier corpse and then you have to target them again via the /target a_froglok and loot the Tattered Expedition Journal which sometimes the corpse won't have one on it. At this point the quest is done, all you have to do is turn in the journal to Rupkerr.

Your task 'An Expedition Gone Awry' has been updated.

You have located the missing froglok expedition crew, only to find that they have perished for reasons unknown.

Rupkerr says 'This journal you brought me belonged to Krupp, the expedition leader. You say you found it on his corpse? It's a shame so many of the pages are missing. I'm sure they hold clues as to what caused the expedition crew to perish.'

Your faction standing with Dream Delvers got better.
