With the addition of new deputies such as yourself, we can now give him the assistance he requires. Just go down to Bobick's shop near the lake. Tell him I sent you.' You say, 'Hail, Fiddy Bobick' Fiddy Bobick says, 'Ahoy, mate! The name's Fiddy Bobick! Perhaps you've heard of me... the greatest halfling to sail the seas of Norrath? I have been to the North, South, East and West, and thank Prexus, I have survived it all! Why I have returned to this little hollow is a wonder to me. Obviously, the salty air finally got to my brain!' You say, 'Lanena sent me' Fiddy Bobick says, 'Well, it's about blasted time! The ship was about to sink. Wickystick finally managed to send the troops in! The problem, mate, is piranha ! What?! That's what I said. Piranha! The lake is infested with the little buggers. More and more every sunrise. They're chomping down all our food supply. You have gotta get your can in the drink and kill them. Take one of their teeth to old Wickystick and see what she has to say about Fiddy then! I will also give you some booty for any teeth you pull out of this river. Well, get going, Deputy Elina!' Jump in to the lake and start killing piranhas (be careful as they tend to come in pairs - and keep an eye on your air meter). Kill the trout to get large piranha to spawn, be careful as Chomper may also spawn! Upon turn-in of 1 piranha tooth at least dubious faction, Fiddy Bobick says, 'Whew! You can give the Piranha Tooth to Fiddy Bobick at dubious, which is actually scowling but dubious because he is a merchant. My Ogre war is KOS to deep pockets and the priest of Mischief. Until I did the Wall Squad Ring (quest version), I was ally with guardians of the vale. Now I am high amiable because you get a -1000 hit. It should give +1000 to Priests of Mischief, but there does not appear to e any way to improve this faction to reach the point you can turn in the supplies.

I confirmed what Bijou says below. The quest doesn't seem to work the same way anymore. And you don't get the rapier or the piranha bag.

I updated the faction hits... did you give a tooth to Marshal Lanena?
This looks to be one of those quests that were put in the database as 1 when it is kind of 2 that crossover (or at least was).

This looks like a good quest to do, get some gold, and raise your faction. How much does the rapier sell for? I'm a druid and I don't get 2HS.

My Halfling Ranger was able to do this quest as well, accomplishing it in a little over twenty minutes (spent a lot of time running around in circles waiting for the piranhas to respawn). I think I'll try the "fishing with dynamite" method mentioned by the anonymous poster. Sounds like fun.

this fish killed me when i just happened to fall into the water.....after comeing back to sell after takeing lumberjacks.i exacted punishment on the fish and discovered a nifty bag....gave my rogue a nice itm.

I have to say as a training weapon this is nice. 2HS is usually so hard to raise because of the horrendous delay limiting the number of swipes you can take at a mob during a fight, but the delay on this thing makes it great for disrupting casters even if it won't hurt them very much, but then kick and bash don't hurt very much until much later when the skill is high and you have some ******* stuff in your shield and boot slots.

This quest is so funny it makes me cry. I was in the water with my 12 Dru waiting for the pirahnas to pop and decided to engage in the RV equivalent of fishing with dynamite by nuking all the poor little trout with my burst of fire. I got the pirahnas to spawn, nuked them with Ignite, got Chomper to spawn a couple times and nuked him. I was also using Enduring Breath so I could sit on the bottom of the lake and med. Anyway, I was able to do the rogue ruby quest for killing Chomper, got tons of pirahna teeth and have enough Rivervale trout and fresh fish to feed Africa. I also got a helluva lotta fish scales to keep my Enduring Breath ready for action. Fun as hell. I recommend you try it sometime.

A rogue can use the ratho rapier, but since they have NO skill in it, your attack factor is WORSENED. My attack factor (for a low level rogue) was 75 barehanded, it dropped to 71 if I used the rantho rapier. It is a better newbie weapon for warriors wanting to work on 2HS (which they can improve upon).

Ive been searching and searching, but have failed to find any of the pirhana, can someone tell me if im in a different ar of the lake, or what?

Oh, the pirahna are there... just stick around the docks and 2 will soon show up. You may want to kill some of the trout while you are waiting as this always seems to bring em around.
For those wantin to know... the easiest exit from lake is to the left of the docks in the corner.

this quest isn't that difficult to do, except, I could never find a way out of the lake, I kept trying to jump up onto the docks and everything but it didn't work. I must have killed at least a dozen or so pirhanas before I was able to find a way out. It was very tedious swimming around, but I did get a LOT of money :)

It seems you faction has to be amiable to do this quest? I tried it with indiferent and they would not give me the later part of the quest

When I hailed ol' Fiddy, he mentioned something about Wickystick and bringing Wicky a tooth as well. Who is Wickystick, and where is she/he/it?
