This solo task is the third in a series of five that begins with Gihbra Artinguard in Volska's Husk. He is located at approximately -140, -165, -47. Be careful in this zone as there are no especially safe points, including the locations of task givers.
In order to request this task, you must first have completed "Into the Fire" and "Uncover the Truth". You say, 'Hail, Gihbra Artinguard' Gihbra Artinguard says 'I cannot believe everything that has gone on lately. It is only a matter of time before the Autarchians try to take over the whole of the underfoot. Perhaps we can [slow] them down a bit.' You say, 'Slow them down?' Gihbra Artinguard says 'The mephits appear to be indigenous to this area. The Bellikos must be controlling them so they may harvest the Greken eggs without the mephits' [interference].' You say, 'Interfence?' Gihbra Artinguard says 'So will the mephits fight the Autarchians if the Bellikos did not have a hold on them? I guess there is no way to know for sure. But it is worth a [shot].' You say, 'I'll give it a shot' Gihbra Artinguard says 'So then it is settled. You must go to the mephits' lair and [kill] the Bellikos warden who is influencing them.' You say, 'I'll kill her!' Gihbra Artinguard says 'Thank you. I am sure the mephits will make it difficult to get to the warden. You should go speak to the Mephit Shaman in Lichen Creep first. If you convince him, I am sure it will go a long way to help here.' You have been assigned the task 'Autochthonous Support'. Speak to the Mephit Shaman in Lichen Creep 0/1 (Lichen Creep) The Mephit Shaman is found at location -1035, 920, 40. Two golems that are sometimes see-invis are at either of its sides. You say, 'Hail, Mephit Shaman' Mephit Shaman says 'Dis Bellikos do not be mess wif da mephits in da husk. I do not allow it. Da mephit in husk dos know better den to be messin wif da Bellikos. More mephits I will send to da husk when I can. For now, da mephits who help da Bellikos should die.' Kill the Bellikos warden in the mephit's lair 0/1 (Volska's Husk) The Bellikos warden spawns at -161, -625, -133 (in the mephit caves of Volska's Husk -- the southeast corner of the northeast caves in the zone). Return to Gihbra Artinguard 0/1 (Volska's Husk) You say, 'Hail, Gihbra Artinguard' The mephits are free of Bellikos influence. The two guards near Mephit Shaman were non-see-invisible today, so I walked up close to him for the hail text and /loc, for the step "Speak to the Mephit Shaman 0/1 (Lichen Creep)".
