This task begins with Phara Dar in the Field of Scale.
You say, 'Hail, Phara Dar' Phara Dar says 'I do not have time to indulge in idle chat, small one. My father and I must find a way to crush these Iksar. We all grow [weary] of such prolonged battle.' You say, 'Weary?' Phara Dar says 'It is slow going, destroying such a large number of foes. We gnaw on the tail, but the body and head remain inside the [walls]. I would prefer a quick, decisive final battle. I would prefer to end this foolishness now. But the Ring of Scale is nothing if not wise, and so we fight this war as we must. Only Talendor appears to be enjoying the delay. I suspect he appreciates the anticipation of victory nearly as much as the victory itself. Though the appearance of the [Sokokar] give me pause for concern.' You say, 'Sokokar?' Phara Dar says 'Some form of twisted mating of a dragon-kin and a Froglok. As unnatural and disgusting as the thought is, the beasts themselves are impressive. And by all rights they are our kin and so I would have them on our side of this. Would that we could capture some and learn their nature. But they are fierce and will not surrender. Perhaps the [young] would be more pliable.' You say, 'The young?' Phara Dar says 'Yes, I know what you shall do. You shall go into their hatchery and bring back one of the young Sokokar so that I might learn more of them.' You have been assigned the task 'Broodling in the Hand'. Phara Dar has asked you to capture a young sokokar from the Iksar hatchery in Kaesora. She gave you a cage to capture one, but warned you that you would probably have to hit the tiny beast a few times before it would be coaxed into the cage. Once you have the young sokokar and enough food to sustain it for a while, return to Phara Dar. Capture a sokokar broodling 0/1 (Kaesora Hatchery) The sokokar broodling has been spotted wandering the area in the westernmost point in the zone (the "vault" area). Deliver 10 Sokokar Snack to Phara Dar 0/10 (Field of Scale) These seem to drop off random mobs in the Hatchery zone.
