Find an undead knight up on the 3rd floor in Temple of Solusek Ro at +405, +80, +31 on the west side.
You say, 'Hail, an undead knight' An undead knight says, 'Away from this place of torment! Make haste and flee before you, too, share my [gruesome fate]!' You say, 'gruesome fate' An undead knight says, 'I was once a proud shadowknight, but failed I did in my master's quest. I was sent into a lizard fortress deep in the swamplands. I was to seek out an ancient item for my master. I failed and was captured. The lizards stripped me of my [darkforge armor] and planned to boil me alive. Before they could do so, I escaped. Upon my return to my master's lair I found myself in a [worse predicament].' You say, 'darkforge armor' An undead knight says, 'I and I alone have the power to create darkforge armor! It was crafted for me so naturally it is to be worn by shadowknights only. My armor was taken by the lizardman crusaders. Unfortunately for them, it lost all power and cannot be worn. I would be glad to see it put to good use. Do you [seek the darkforge armor]?' You say, 'seek the darkforge armor' An undead knight says, 'Darkforge gauntlets require both of my decayed gauntlets and one enchanted platinum bar. For the darkforge greaves, I will need both decayed legplates and two pieces of melatite from the Solusek Mining Company. For the boots, I need both my decayed boots and two parts of fairy dust.' The Decayed Left and Right Gauntlets drop off certain Tae Ew mobs in the Feerrott and lizards in Cazic Thule. The Enchanted Platinum Bar can be obtained by purchasing a Platinum Bar and having an Enchanter to enchant it. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

I just spent 2 weeks whiping every lizard outside of Cazic for decayed pieces Crusaders rarely spawn and Spiritualist's spawn around 1 in 10 at the Radiant spawn. I would round up all lizard's on the island and run em to the Oggok zone in wait until the past the 2 guards out front then I would FD if you cant FD just zone. The 2 guards out front will attack and kill em all then run back and wait for repops quickest way I found . I was rounding them up then sicking pets on em then looting for the fine steel which drops good for 5pp but too much looting hope this helps

the spiritualist does drop all the peices, and in my experiance the spawn is as follows:
a silvered tae ew observer
Radiant
a tae ew spiritualist
a tae ew spiritualist
then it repeats, it is about 15min between spawns so you have to wait about a half hour before you will see him after killing him the second time

Ok, anyone have a final word, on EXACTLY where, they drop now, and who to hail, and where to hail, them at? That is all.

The pieces drop off crusaders, which are on the island outside Cazic Thule, they are rare spawns, you just need to kill the other lizard men to spawn them.
Also there is another mob drops the items, that is the Spiritulist. He spawns at the Radiant point, which is the farthest point from cazic thule entrance. He shares his spawn with the Radiant and the Silvered Tae Ew Observer. Spawn is about 15 mins, he always drops decayed armour parts, sometimes even 2 pieces. He also drops the Grimy Lance which is for a quest in Stonebrunt mountains.
You hail the 2 undead nights in the temple os solusek ro, for the quests. They will tell you which one requires what parts etc.
I am currently getting Dark forge armour for my epic and been in feerott alot, and in my experiance camping Radiant point is more productive than killing all the lizard men in hopes of spawning a Crusader.
So far from the Spiritulist I have had, left and right bracers drop, left and right gauntlets drop, the breastplate, left boot, left and right greaves and right armplate. So I'm guessing he will drop any of the pieces.

they ht for about 301 and then fight like regular zealots aside from the accasional spell, but they are very easy to resist, they drop all teh decayed pieces and this ritualist talk is bs, i have all but the pieces for the bp off the crusaders, the ritualist might drop some for maybe like the bp, but dont yap unless you have done it yourself and know what your typing.

Personally, I'll yap all I can. First, either you have no idea how to spell, or your clueless as to the mob that's being talked about. The Tae Ew Spiritualist, which spawns where the Radiant and Silvered spawn, will drop ALL the pieces for the DF armor. Not just the BP pieces. I have done several (8 or more) FULL sets of DF armor and I camped all the pieces from the Spiritualist, except for the occasional spawn of a Crusader at the location where the Spiritualist spawns. This point is probably THE best place to get Decayed to drop. There are only 4 mobs, if you count the one behind the pillar, and they can all be single pulled without Aggroing anything else, unless you just don't know how to pull. There are also no wandering mobs that travel that far out. So no worries about being jumped, unless of course, some moron trains you on the way to the PoK book.

YES...the Crusaders do still spawn. I have been farming DF for months now, my guildmate has also.

I also have a conflict with the guide there saying you need "A decayed Guantlet" ...I turned in the left and right guantlet and the "enchanted plat bar" I got the message "Decayed Breastplate, Decayed Mail and 2 platinum bars" from the Undead Knight. I am a little pissed...can anyone ellaborate?

You must have turned them in to the wrong undead knight. There are two of them in the temple for the darkforge quest. You must make sure you have the right one for the piece you are after. They each cover half the parts so talk to them first.

Do these things aggro veery badly ? I shudder at the thought of a train of shadowknight lizards on me harm touching me for 301 damage

In the Temple (located in Lavastorm) there are two Undead Knights. To speak to these knights say "what about Darkforge armor" and they will tell you the tale. The Crusaders due still drop Decayed Armor as does the Ritualist. Best trick is to cast Sense Undead to locate there pets.

It drops off BOTH the Crusaders and the Ritualist. Finished up questing for a full suit today; got pieces from both mobs. Ritualist is on a 2 hour timer, so I'd kill him then camp Crusaders at the top o' the pyramid. Here's a bit of advice about the Ritualist:
1. Sense the Dead doesn't really help in locating him (only really helps determining whether or not he's up), as he spawns in the same place every time and generally stays there (get a map).
2. Pull any defenders or other extra mobs into the adjacent dead end, and finish them off first.

In the Temple of Solusek Ro there are 2 Undead Knights. One of them you hand in the items for Helm, BP, Vambraces, and Bracers. The other Undead Knight does not respond to hails.
Do you hand the items for the lower body pieces to this other knight even though he does not repond to hails? Where do you turn in the items for the DF Boots, Greaves, and Guantlets? Is the other Undead Knight bugged since the last patch?

OK anyone know how to get the gauntlets. i turned in a left and right decaying gauntlet, and 1 enchanted plat bar and nothing happened. what did i do wrong? PLZ tell.

Anyone know what to tell the knight ? A simple hail dont work, trust me. Did and lost 2 Gloves and one enchanted bar.

These aren't worth while. Buy Darkmail Gaunlets. they are 10AC 5 dex 50mana. giving up the 2 ac for 50 more mana is well worth it IMO. 1 lifetap should out-do the big 2ac. as i'm sure it *really* does a lot :)
And to buy a enchanted bar of plat (a normal bar is 110pp, plus get someone to enchant it), save the 150pp or so, and spend 250-400pp on darkmail (price depends on server, and if they trying to rip ya.). They are common loot off of Sential in Lguk.

Anyone who says that extra AC is not worth it has not played a tank for more than 10 levels. AC is always worth it. I would not trade AC for mana, unless it were some obscene amount, like 500 mana. The AC and magic resist on the gaunts will save you much dmg over time.

Dark Mail also doesn't look dark!! it looks like banded. and that doesn't help at all when you're trying to achieve the shadowknight black look!

to the first post, that "extra lifetap" that darkmail would give you doesn't mean ****... for any melee type, ac is our one true god. besides that "meager" 2ac is a 20% increase in ac from darkmail to darkforge. for one item to jump like that it is WELL worth it. to the second post, darkmail and darkforge look the same when equipped, but yes they dont match the rest of the darkforge =(.
However, the Dark Mail provides 3 more dex, and as an SK that's important both because at this level range you're probably using a dark reaver or similar weapon with a proc, and also vampiric embrace. I for one would rather have the dex and mana because SK's are all about offense.

Yes but see you fail to notice that the MR is there,which is nice,may not be all that much but for humans and darkelves these are better then the darkmail because they need the ac more.Pretty much humans and Dark Elves should use the breast plate,leggings,arms and these,and just get some Fp for ac on the other pieces because they arnt worth the cash it takes to get them
