I moved a PVP flagged character off of Trakanon server... and he lost the PvP flag.
Leaving Zek server (tried this too) does the same thing. Likely Zek is why the above happens (red status auto-removed on server transfer).
If you don't want (or can't due to server) to server transfer, then what others have said in this thread about GM petition and/or customer service is likely a good bet.

if you would like to remove the pvp-status, you can follow the step below:
1. go to the website: http://www.soe.com/
2. login your account the one your character has become a pvp.
3.select the support icon one the top of the website.
4.choice the everquest icon
5.select the in-game support icon
6.select the in-game support tab on the top of the website.
7.submit the question to tell GM you would like to remove the pvp flag.
PS: I had success to remove my pvp flag after I submit the question to gm 1 hour after.

On Firiona Vie, I had to go PvP for my guild ( was more related to discordian thing), but if you /petition to get it removed, they will remove it. I'm not sure if it was a special case for my guild (we were well known) but I doubt it.

I had success remove my flag through GM. We don't need have a special reason the remove the pvp flag. just tell gm it's a ****** suck design.

i did this quest it sucks because of the buff issue ....are they going to change this ? or give dialogue how u turn back nopvp so i can get buffed still? 70 mnk fennin ro
