Many thanks for bringing this flute to me. Please do thank Master V'Lynn for me. Yes, indeed I am many leagues away from my home. You see I am on a quest of my own, one which my own departed father starated. A quest I have decided to bear in honor of his name. This flute from V'Lynn signifies your own quest..and I see that I am to play a small part in it..very well.

Deliver 1 Fine Inlaid Flute to Becoreen Pathfinder

Becoreen is found at location +705, -1395, 70, near the wizard portal in South Ro.

Loot 2 Pristine Scarab Eye from Sand Scarabs

Deliver 2 Pristine Scarab Eye to Becoreen Pathfinder

Explore Dervish Camp 1

Explore Dervish Camp 2

Kill 8 Dervish Cutthroats

Any cutthroats from any of the camps in South Ro will be sufficient.

Kill 1 Mograk Cutthroat Leader

Speak with Becoreen Pathfinder

Becoreen may be found at +700, -1400.

Speak with V'Lynn Renloe

V'Lynn smiles as you approach, weary but triumphant. I knew even the danger of Southern Ro would not deter you. Deliver this note to your guildmaster and you will be rewarded most handsomely for your troubles.

You have been given: Note About Your third Trial.

Bring the note to your guildmaster to receive a newbie armor piece (your boots, in this case.)

For this quests, it asks you to find 2 dervish camps, but you can't go by what the labels are from MapFiend!

The camp labeled Dervish Camp 4 will count as your 'exploring Dervish Camp 1' (it's where Mograk is).

The camp labeled Dervish camp 3 will count as your 'exploring Dervish Camp 2'.

Hope this clears things up a bit!

That was the old South Ro. The new one doesn't have a zoneline to OoM anymore.

The Reward listed here is wrong. Though you DO get the "Note About Your Third Trial" Ultimately you get a Footwear item.

Here's the ones I know from my characters that aren't listed:

Human Shadow Knight - Dismal Knight Boots
Wood Elf Druid - Boots of the Leafrunner
Wood Elf Ranger - Trueshot Chainmail Boots
Vah Shir Rogue - Taruun Boots

The reward is correct. For finishing this quest you get a note about your third trail.

The third trial that gives you the boots is another quest. Try not to spread misinformation

I didn't spread misinformation.

If you notice the last step says to 'Bring the note to your guildmaster to receive a newbie armor piece'. When you COMPLETE this quest you will get a pair of BOOTS. The THIRD TRIAL you speak of is part of THIS quest. Looking at the quest name will give you that tid-bit of info. :)

Also, your "Task Window" IN THE GAME will tell you that the final step is to "turn in the Note About Your Third Trial" to your guildmaster.

btw, I wouldn't try this quest at level 5, more like level 7+ or so. Mograk camp is kinda wild to do.

With that said, imho, there are much better / easier armor quests to complete for level 5 armor. Such as; through the training area.
