I entered these coordinates in my map, after spending about 2 hours trying to figure out why my "/loc" didn't work when entered directly into the map. Leave it to Daybreak/Sony/Verant/whoever designed this ridiculous map system to invert the signs and sequence of the coordinates. If "/loc" says "1, -2", I had to reverse the order and sign of both values - creating a point of "2, -1".
So, here are the coordinates I used. I found all 6 in the northern-most 3, in the open lying on the ground.

This solo task begins with a Gnoll named Toegnasher (in the Gnoll camp in the vicinity of 675, 75 (on the west side of the pathway's north tip).
Before starting the quest, be sure to buy a Piece of Parchment available from many vendors, notably Researcher Kakra and Researcher Layla in Crescent Reach. You say, 'Hail, Toegnasher' Toegnasher says 'Everyone wants to know something. Bark! What do you want to know, Troll? I want to know something too. If you can you help me [find it], I might trade something for the information.' You say, 'I will help you find it' You have been assigned the task 'Book for Toegnasher'. Toegnasher says 'I'm looking for an old book. It says something about. . . about the past. You bring me the book and I'll give you something.' Toegnasher seems a bit sketchy about dealing with you. Perhaps it might improve his disposition if you found this book he speaks of. Toegnasher says there are four pages to this book. Find them. And give them to him. The 1st three steps of the task can be performed in any order.. Ancient Parchment [Part 1] is found as a ground spawn in random locations throughout the grove in the west-central part of the zone. Known locations: 107, 1213, -70 1157, 85, 208 1139, 93, -7 1165, 100 -544, 963 Ancient Parchment [Part 2] drops from hill giants in The Steppes Ancient Parchment [Part 3] drops off Nightmoon Kobolds in Icefall Glacier. (It's also a rare drop off the fire elemental Whiteflame in the eastern part of Valdeholm's frozen lake.) Once the first three pages are handed in... From looking at the three other pages, you think that the fourth was a picture of the rune on the stone at the center of the druid's circle. Take a rubbing of it, Toegnasher probably wont know if it's the real thing or not. Head just above the island in the water on the east side of the zone /loc 639.44, -1138.00, 160.06. Put your Piece of Parchment on your cursor and, facing the rues on the center stone, stand as close to the stone as you can, the quest should update. You receive Copy of Druidic Rune. It's 2023 and it was hidden half in a bush OMG that sux. and of course if you have a group it won;t necessarily spawn in the same place of each of them.

I was able to find the first parchment quite easily once I discovered a few things.
First, go to Moldren the Wise. Then Turn NNW (almost completely N)
Sit and wait for a guardian of the grove (satyr version) to run up towards you (it's a little ways away, but visible). It will stop in a bush. When he stops, the ground spawn will be there.

I found it at -544.45, 963.19. It wasn't easy. Nice if they could make drop items brighter in colour.

The satyr to follow is level 63 with no spear in hand and paths between the bush in the pictures and 178,1202 - which is next to a tree near the bear cave.

Torture quest, but it is not that it is really hard to see, but rather it is rare and not in the same spot (except for being in the grove).
Eventually I gave up looking in bushes, following satyrs and trying to work out the location coordinates and just ran around. After a relatively short while found it. I have taken a screen shot and posted it to my blog:

On the 1st piece, I went to every listed location and didn't find not a 1 in over 5 hours of back n forth.
Then, since when you look-up the 1st page, it gives 2 locations and pics of the mobs around the ground spawn.
So, I went a little NORTH of Moldren the Wise, who is found on the map, and looked for those particular mobs.

Can't find one. I've now spent at least 3 hours over the last couple days, staring into every bush, around every tree, under every treant or bear, with grass turned off. Looked up all the recorded locs. Nothing. I remember being frustrated years ago on this, but finally got one. Now I can't seem to get one. It's the only thing yet to do in the Achievements in the Steppes.
Sorry to rant. Just need to vent and maybe suggest these scrolls be made hot pink or something.

2nd page is a common drop from the hill giants NW of Toegnasher.

I can't figure out how to post a picture of the Ancient Parchment in the grove, or i would show it. I found it in the open. It looks like two flattened scrolls bound together with a brown ribbon

Found it at 107, 1213. Grove guardian had stopped right on top of it, almost like it had dropped it. Made it easier to see.

Note: a guardian stopped right on top of it and had it under his foot. This seems to be a trend ...

I found the first page in the North West corner of the grove today at 208.91, 1139.83, 93.39. The ground around it lit up a little around dusk.

Found at 108.51, 1202.92, 94.22 between a bush and a tree. Also found at -7.92, 1165.32, 100.13 on 7/12/2012

I found the first page in a bush located at -544.45, 963.19. It was a bit whiter than the surround foliage. The tip to turn off the radial flora helped. The page I found was actually in the bush and NOT on the ground. The bush was NNW of Moldren the Wise.

BAR ROG 66 & DE MAG 67 worked together to find two of these... And it took over an hour (but we killed some critters to ease the boredom, too).
Quest window calls these "pages" but the item you pick up is called "Ancient Parchment".
Found 1st one in the grove -537, 698, 93.37 under green bush. It looks like a white/off-white scroll (closed, rolled shut scroll, not a flapping or curled piece of paper). Also found -388, 996, 93.37 on open ground.
TIP: Go to your options, select Display tab, turn Gamma up to 100% (or at least over 85%), click on Advanced tab, remove radial flora (this gets rid of all the low grasses and plants on the ground). Now you won't be distracted by the ankle-high plant life, and you'll know EXACTLY what everyone means when they say "found it in a bush".
Be prepared... this one takes a while and is much easier if you Invisible or do ROG hide/sneak because the bears and wolves aggro on *everybody*.

Took forever but finally a guardian of the grove dropped at -76.27, 1148.67 near the bear cave.
Piece of Parchment sold on vendors, including Crescent Reach at Researcher Layla or Researcher Kakra. When you get to the druid circle, it gives you the message "You probably want to place the parchment on your cursor to make the copy you need." Doing so causes the item to change into the Copy of Druidic Rune which you can then hand in to Toegnasher.
This is after all three (3) pages have already been turned in to Toegnasher, by the way.

I got it at -328, 1001 - it was half in a bush so quite hard to see.
Thanks for that heads up, I found my first First Page half under a bush! I noticed a satyr standing on it, followed him away and back... behold! another parchment at his feet!

the location,I found in the grove for the spawn, is -304.97..1000.20..92.47
Horrible aug for the level of mobs you need to kill (not to mention you need the faction required to even get the quest). Yeah, its a relatively easy quest for a level 75 to complete... but seriously - this aug is a freakin' joke. Should be at least 40/40/40. 20/20/20 is newb chit.. there are lowbie quests that give better augs than this.

Found it at -536, +947. It appears that it can be most anywhere in the grove area.
