Shondo and the Tonic  

Shondo is on the Gemchoppers faction. If he is scowling he will not attack you but he will not take ale from you either.

Charming him will let you turn them in but doesn't give you faction hits -- you will only get the xp.

If you leave him be (don't charm) and do the invisibility trick to be indifferent after opening the trade window, you get faction as well. That would be using a cloudy potion if you're alone (or singing invis song if you're alone and a bard) -- or having a buddy there to invis you.

After turning in a few stacks tho he shouldn't be KOS anymore and you won't need the invis.

if its anything like the red wine in Neriak, expect to turn in a LOT to be anywhere near indiff at least (i mean at least 10 stacks, probably more)
