Since nobody's posted a location for the casters yet, they spawn at the southern set of igloos Loc is -1150 -1640

They nuke for 13 so be ready for a hard fight

i just turned in three shattered caster beads (one at a time) and i got no gavel of justice... tho i did get three spells (gate, summon food, endure fire).

Well randomly I killed an ice goblin and wound up with goblin ice necklace, but when I go to hand it in to shamus he says I have no need for this item now, and gives it back to me. Any ideas?

Here is one question I have. I have not done this quest (ever, and my shaman is 57 now so kinda not worth it), but, What i am wondering is, does this quest continue like the cabilis quest? i.e. turn in this hammer plus some other item to get a better hammer? The cabilis quest is very nice, and with the ability of enchanters to cast illusion iksar on others, tempting to try (if its even possible without getting the newbie hammer first) after turning in the requisite 4k+ bone chips to the guard by the entrance of course! It would be nice tho if they do extend this out.

sure, alot of people have trouble with this one, but I did it in about 10 min. and I'm not even a shaman!

Having devoted a good 6 hours of play time each lvl after lvl 6 (when I found them in the first place) I am happy to say I have killed a total of 6 casters, none of which have beads. WHY ME! WHY ME!

Does anyone know if the Shattered (or regular) Caster Beads are lore, magic, or no drop? I've recently begun entertaining myself on the Firiona Vie server where trivial loot code is in effect.

Tonight, The Tribunal blessed me, ringing 8 bells in ceremony of my accomplishments. To celebrate, I went to fight the ice goblin foes. As a caster fell, I realized that this had become a trivial combat. (e.g. I cringed when I saw the Trivial Loot Code message.) Perhaps something else dropped, but... before I spend time fighting these creatures in the name of Greed, err... in the name of The Tribunal... I'd love to know if I'll ever be able to prove my worth to Shamus.

I also forgot to mention that I'm not sure if this will work for anyone who is not a Shaman. I turned in all my shattered beads to the guy, and got NOTHING for it. Of course none of the Shamans really like Rogues so maybe it's just not for Rogues. So if you're a Rogue I'd suggest you sell the beads to a Shaman and make some money, especially if you get the beads for the gavel of Justice, you don't want to go through all of that work and not get anything out of it.

This quest is bogus. The casters spawn about 1 in 20. About 1 in 3-4 times they drop beads of any kind, and 1 of 5 of those happens to be the ones you need. It's about 1 in 15 that you'll kill the caster that's going to drop beads. And that caster is going to be 1 in about 200 goblins,

And to think, I tried to camp this.

I have camped those 2 igloos for over 50 real life hours. With a 11 lvl Shaman I killed over 70 casters I collected many shattered beads but never the "Caster Beads" Thinking there may be a level cap on this quest I created a new character and at level 5 my new shaman sit up shop. As of now my new shaman is level 8 and still no "Caster Beads" The new character has killed over 40 casters and only collected Shattered beads. This camp is dangerous for low levels, as snow leopards, orc troppers, orc mountainers, orc shamans, and sometimes the Dark assassin walk thru the camp.I have kept track of the casters they seem to spawn 1 for every 12-30 scouts that are killed. The casters will very rarely spawn 1 for 1-4 scouts that are killed. This is normally followed by a string of 20-30 scouts before the next caster spawns. I am beginning to hate this camp. If you have gotten the "Caster Beads" please email at Toadstul@LVCM.com , I need to know that they are real and not some online joke.

Is this camp just to the right of snowflake or just to the right of Bandl?

It seems there are two spots with two iglloos. A northern and southern camp with two iglloos on the map.

A loc would be swell also.
