I created a wood elf just so i can go old school and learn the old school trades. I did this quest for the fun of it; the orc warden is in the slave cave; if not; kill the orc slavers and he will spawn. The orc warden drops the key everytime. Collect 2 orc eyes for turn in. Love taking over crushbone and the xp is still good for newbies. I turned in the master orc key and 2 orc eyes and received 5% xp at level 19. The sword has no damage stats, 27 delay and under item information is does reads "Gains power for each new expansion that has been unlocked. Reaches full power when the Planes of Power are available."
I just got the sword and it has been updated the stats are now:
Delay 27
DMG: 9
STR +3 DEX +5 HP +10 MANA: +5
SV FIRE +5 SV COLD +5
Recommended lvl 10
When they updated newbie armor quests and redid tutorial, i think they changed it, because gloomingdeep swords would be better than the sword as it used to be.

This is MQable just in case anyone is interested. I just had the wife make up a ranger just to see if it would work. I would feel bad because she is twinked at all now but since she isn't actually gonna play that ranger hehehe.
I gave the Key and she gave the Orc Eyes and she ended up with it.

Can you do this before finishing the armour as i have just about given up on ever finding an ulna, but i've had the master key for some time?
Yes,You can do this without doing the armor quests. Just hail him and say What favor? If he does not respond to that just give him the key and the two eyes anyway as long as you have correct faction you will get the sword.

Yes you can. None of the armour needs to be done in order. I believe that this is true for all of the newbie armour quests. Certainly for warrior, ranger, enchanter, monk and rogue.
