If you ***** up your faction with Paladins, stop your messing around and beat this guy up. I had just made a Paladin(now defunct) and my friend farmed some DF belts for me(how nice :P) and he told me to give them to the FP militia(and this guy's a paladin too!). I was level 5 but dubious to the Paladins now and amiable to the guards(who I hate). So I walked around sulkily and zoned into East Freeport. Lo and behold, here's a guy to take out my aggression on! I looked around-hey, no guards!- and smiled at him. I proceeded to whale upon him within an inch of his sorry life, and as began walking away I threw a club at him and watched him fall dead. I looked at my faction hits. Yeah baby! +knights of truth! I then waited for him to spawn again, killed him, he spawned, I killed him... etc. etc. etc. I got killed by Guard Dreiken along the way, so I learned to watch out for him. Now I was amiable to my guild again. Hurrah!. I trashed this guy in favor of a new High Elf wizard though, so it's moot now. Remember this guy for faction though. The best combo I've found for him is to whack him a new one, and run if you see the guards. Shoot him or throw something at him when he commences to run. I'd had plenty of clubs from decaying skellies so I kept throwing them at him. He dropped anything from coins to words and runes, which I believe he dropped once or twice.
Why??

If you want to kill this guy that's ok with me but I don't recommend it. He doesn't drop anything very useful most of the time. Just watch out for the gaurd, he will come after you like he did me! Why is this guy there anyway? Is he part of a quest?
Thank God I read this!

I am a paladin and I have killed him a long time ago. I used to kill him over and over, for fun and laughs and xp, but today I killed him just for laughs (im level 12). Guards check me apprehensively, and I thought thatz pretty bad but now all you guys talk about it so... I also killed a dark-elf chick and idiot guy in East Freeport. Wahoo!!! Free kills on Rin! Watch out for Guard Dreikin you newbie freaks!
Love this guy!

I personaly have gained from level 5 to 7 just taking this guy to the cleaners and I can still roam Freeport at my leisure. Plus, I'm a Paladin, the natural enemy of the militia, and the faction drop doesn't seem to be too bad. Just go out and kill some orcs for awhile and you can even out those wrinkles in faction with the militia. For those level 4-7 I definitely recomend taking this guy on...just make sure Guard Drekkin is outta the way. I usually follow him to make sure he's gonna stay out of the fight and then run up and take Rin out.
Wait for the guard to leave

He's pretty easy to kill... looks just like a madman from Ro. He lowers faction with the FP militia, but I've killed him several times and haven't fallen lower than "apprehensive," so I don't think the faction hit's too bad. If Guard Drekkin is standing there when you try to fight this guy, the guard will kill you.. so wait until he makes his round around the armor and leather shops ;)

some player might of given him the stuff. I've camped him just as a way to past time while waiting for someone to meet up with me. 1st time i killed him i got several gold. every other, just a few copper or silver, and occasionally a rusty weapon. I may be wrong, but i doubt it. Not that I wouldn't like him to drop nice stuff though
NEW!!

I'm at lvl 15 now and i was walkin through East FP and i saw this dude holding a funny looking weapon can't remember but i could sell to merchants for 50pp and i sold to another player for 200pp, but dont be fooled by his level if he's got this weapon on him he did about 25damage on me!

This guy is a great camp with out leaving the city...only camp him if your a good char...not evil, bewarned it lowers your faction with Guards and the malitia.....although i have camped him for 5 hrs to get from lvl 3-6 and the effect is little, i can still walk around and the guards won't attack me whether i hail them or not. Once he dropped a Rusty Dagger and a bout 5 pp!
Oh yeh is spawn time is roughly 5minutes and 45 seconds, and don't attack him until Guard Driken or sumthin leaves! :)

This is the first non-monster NPC I ever killed. Heh. Lowers your faction w/ the guards though, so if you're a pally be careful.
