A Steel Stonegrabber  

Spawns at loc 460, -845. Of the three stonegrabbers here, this is the northwestern one.
Placeholder is 'a stonegrabber’ - and can probably spawn as one other named stonegrabber.
There are 8 total stonegrabbers in zone, each on a 13 minute respawn time.

Is this thing really that rare? I ported in to DSP from the Nexus the other night to hunt Rockhoppers, checked my tracking scope and saw "steel Rockhopper" on track. Ran over to it, Snared and DoTed it and cooked it in it's tracks. Dropped the etched Steel Shavings, but that's it.
Good thing too, forom the sound of it. My main is a monk (who just happens to be butt nekkid atm), so I guess I can do the Steel Threaded Gi now.

Yes, the Steel Stonegrabber is real. I ported into DSP last night to forage for the Foraging Machete quest and saw the Gemmed Stonegrabber right next to the port in. I decided to take it, and w/o waiting to use Harmony,pulled with Ensnare. I got the Gemmed AND the Steel! After dot kiting (too many hps for ae dd with less than fm), both dropped, just a bit harder than normal stonegrabbers. Point is, both were up at the same time, at the spot where stonegrabbers spawn right by the druid port in. Steel is not a myth (obviously since a guildmate just got her monk gi last night too!)

I think this is a myth mob....been in DS for 4 days and havent seent this thing.
