ok i dont see a part where they are it says twylight see but all i see in twylight is elemantals does anyone know where it is??

i agree these are seriously underconed. One dark shadow brought a 50 iksar war and a 54 ranger, at the same time, down to less that 20hp each before they managed to zone. i have no idea how these things are green but man. me (55 necro) and the same 50 war were fear kiting these. after darkness the once Full HP war was down to half life by the time fear finished casting on greater shadows. i had to shadowbond him every fight. pain in the **** to see anything in the zone only agrivates the problem

These shadows are ver easy for 40+ mage or doing the ranger kiteing of snare+dot+nuke+redot while the other following behind beats it down if you go hea up with any of these shadows its a waste of time your getting life tapped.

Go kill some of these things....then come back and post....they lifetap big...and they do it a lot.....was kitin them with my shaman....one little mess up and you get to close....and they lifetap 1...2...3...4...5...times in a row...add it up.....these could easily take out a lvl 51 melee...caster should have no problem, although they seem highly magic resistant but low on the poison and disease resists
Cons cyan to me at level 50 (did at 49 as well, so dunno about 51). They're an easy kite for a bard though. Pull to the elemental isle and kite it around at leisure with chains and your chants, staying out of melee (and lifetap) range. Piece of cake.

Fully buffed with LOH and I have above average gear, this thing dropped me being a 52 paladin. Must have Lifetapped me close to 20 times, I kid you not....

O come on, I'm a 40 bard and have zero trouble with any of these shadows, and my equipment sucks as well) The only bummer is trying to get the bard quest one to pop. The lithe is the most common, as far as I can tell, and the named ones all have a lot higher MR than the other ones(at least against bard dots)I once was resisted 12 times in a row, and 49 times in the fight with a groaning one.

These shadows are deceivingly tough some times. Their life taps seem to be procs when they hit you sort of like ghoul root. Which sucks cause these guys must have like 200 dex :P One battle I get tapped like crazy, the next hardly ever, and I think Brewsta meant 147 taps cause they either get you for that or 150. This one dropped the cord for me (good for my mage). you have to be careful cause I died once fighting the tennacious shadow when I had feared it to heal up but it broke early and right when I was going to lay hands he suddenly double tapped me for 150 and I was out ;(

Wilst having some fun on the elemental island, I picked this guy up on track, unusual name I thought conned light blue to me (51 bard) so having a load of mellee songs loaded and at full helth I decided to give it a go, afterall I could always run away with selos.

Yes, my friend, you've learned a valuable lesson today: Us bards really can't mellee worth a darn on some mobs, this kind included. Life taps suck real bad when we dont have a cleric and warrior or 2 backing us up. Best just to chant kite these bad boys, takes about a minute and a half if you're 51. But then, you've probably figured that out already, so I'm just being facetious.

Levels here is WAY off. This thing lifttapped a 41 War to death and almost took down a 39 Shammie with him. All this with a 40 cleric going OOM on Cheals. Finally got the mob killed with a nearby 60 Necro. He was even nice enough to allow the Shaman to loot the mace ;)
