I was checking out this zone tonight for solo experience instead of your usual pop group, and was killin' all the gantru guys in sight until I noticed this dude walking around. Needless to say, I pulled him while looking up the info and didn't even wait since I was near the entrance, and to my suprise he was getting smacked like a ***** once I slowed him. As a 65 Beastlord he was cake. I was doing the melee thing for a while but it became apparent after like 5minutes that this dude has a **** load of hp. In the end I just did pet \ cleric and he dropped with no trouble. I don't know how long it took, but it was a while. I was ******** around sorta and had like 20m at the end of the fight without KEI. If you have KEI, forgetaboutit!! Only thing you have to be VERY CAREFUL about is when he is at around 10% HEALTH he will enrage. If you're a pet class like myself, he will %@##$^% YOUR PET up if you don't get it off him. Anyway, in the end he dropped bracelet of sense and put a huge smile on my face because I used to raid this zone all the time to take out these guys, and would be rolling against like 8 other people for the bracelet. Why bring a raid when your pet can just do the grunt work! BWahaha!!

Was a nice battle. Me and a guildie (61 shm) were doin Moktors and saw Dralkener just kikin a chiken, my friend was scepticle at first because he didnt think his slow would stick, so i pulled him anyway. We got him to about 20% and im not nameing any guilds but *cough *cough Solidarity *cough , man my throat is sore , trained us. I wus supa pissed. We zoned went back in and my friend was 20m and they pulled him expecting us to be able to take him. Had no choice but to take him and got him down to about 5% and he enraged and i didnt notice and forgot to turn atk off and dropped with a quikness. Luckily had a friend to rez me right b4 loot was available to ninja , int bracelt dropped.

This guy is simple

I have farmed him a couple of times with my 65 shaman and 56 SK. Takes about 15 minutes, but once he is slowed, he barely does any damage at all. Just pull to zone in area to avoid adds and start working on him.

If you are not an idiot then its not that tough
# Dec 18 2002 at 7:10 AM Rating: Decent
Me (52 war) and 3 friends (52 shammy, 52 chanter, and 54 cleric) went to go check out UP for the first time because we heard that we could fight the guys near the entrance.

Im pulling and, as they all red with the ocasional yellow, we are just testing out what the difrent mobs do and just haveing some fun.

So i pull this guy. You can single pull him if you just wait for him to walk away form the camp, wasn't hard.

We pull him in tash sticks, slow sticks, non of the dots would stick, the clerics reverse damage shield thing worked out well (15 damage everytime he hits someone) and nukes would land but he was unstunable and unrootable. All three casters got a pet on him, each pet did about 7k damage over the battle and I did 22k. He did a little over 21k damage to me over the course of the battle and about 1k to the shaman chanter and one of the pets. The Cleric with C2 didnt' have any mana problems as all agro was controlled (started with two BBoTs and moved to a Savage stone axe after I firmly grianed agro, never lost it, cleric never even got agroed.

He would summon the shaman every 10-15 seconds but never realy took a swing at him. I don't know if this is a bug or not. When he rampages the cleric just started casting CH when i was at 50% or did the quick 1k heal if i was allready below 50%, other then that the cleric started casting CH when i hit 20-25%. For some reason when he rampaged he would just hit me more often, didnt' touch the pets. Maybe this was because the casters were next on the hatelist and out of range? I don't know why but the rampages acted more like enrages, which he did do at the end of the battle but all the casters just nuked him to end it (enchanter got the kill).

Only thing we wished we did difrently is to give me a symbol ahead of time. The exta hp would have saved the cleric a CH or two.

He hits for 195 max ocasionally twice in a row. And i would estimate his hp to be between 50 and 60k. I know we did 45k melee damage but i don't have the caster damage in my logs. The enchanter and shammy had enough mana to fully buff all the pets and toss out all the nukes they dared too with out gaining agro. Entire fight form pull to loot took 14 mins.

Overall fun mob and not that tough. None of us have uber gear but we now have a Bracelet of might... no real use for it though. Kind of a bummer as any other bracelet drop could have been put to use.

Nope this guy is almost a clock work 8 hour spawn. I've farmed him on my server for months along with others. If you catch him and kill him, look at the time and check for him approx 8 hours later give or take about 5 to 10 minutes. Fellow farmers will be mad that i said that but its true, in fact i know of entire groups that log out and in every 8 hours for this guys and are big enough ***** to run out and pull it with groups camping the zone in!
Raldukan can be as common or uncommon as the armor drops from moktors with his spawn. Any Moktor is a potential PHer, but he will only pop if all the shojens are dead.
Tarwo and Radir are 8 hour spawns to, even one fallen sargent spawn is an 8 hour spawn but you can get others to spawn by killing the fallen soldiers just like you can get the hive fiend and flesheater to spawn by killing neths. Only the player spawned version of the sargent will ever have the sword from what i've seen.
If you got a good tank and slower and you want bracers, go kill tarwo. His fairly easy to slow, and doable with a good group, plus has a few other nice drops......best part is, that he is usually not farmed as bad as "the bracer guy" here.

# Dec 02 2002 at 10:01 AM Rating: Decent
Group was me 53 warrior, 52 Cleric, 54 Ranger, 52 Shadow Knight, 48 Chanter, 52 Pally.

Ranger single pulled him with no adds. I was able to tank the whole fight even with evasive for the first half. Cleric ran OOM so the chanter chain Rune IV till OOM, then Pally did LOH then heals till cleric and chanter had more mana. We cycled back and forth like this for about 5 to 7 minutes.

Dropped the Beauty Bracelet.
Pretty easy

I have been hunting this guy with my shaman and warrior. I 2box so it's kind of a pain but worth it. In the time that I've hunted him this is what I have learned.

Seems to pop between 8 and 12 hours after his death or shortly after a server reset.

He has approximately 50k HP

He slows easy and rampages usually once a minute.

He sees invis unlike the other gantrus.

He'll walk close to that rock at the inzone eventually and if done right he can be single pulled. The aggro radius on the gantrus is very small and almost no chain aggro is apparent. Watch out for the occasional raveger or assasin on the north side.

He summons.

He cries like a baby when I spank him.

So far I have gotten 2 bracelets of fortitude, 1 bracelet of sense, and one bracelet of quickness. I'll need to hunt him some more to gather more info.

#REDACTED, Posted: Jun 16 2002 at 6:46 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Damn, these bracers are nice. I think that Bracelet of Quickness is the best one, because 15 agi AND 15 dex. But no use really if you caster =) I think its best because ____________________ (guess answer) I am a Warrior. If you guessed melee you are correct. Ok, that was a little quiz. Anyway I hope you enjoyed wasting 3 minutes of your life reading this post. ;)
#REDACTED, Posted: Jul 13 2002 at 1:38 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Yes, the bracers are rather nice. However your 'quiz' was a little wierd, try reading it to yourself, you'll find out why. And by the way, only an illiterate hillbilly would take three minutes to read that thing.

Casters don't need this??? WRONG

We need DEX so when we get hit by mobs (which is often for chanters) our spells don't get interrupted.

So this bracer would be good for ALL classes. =)

So enlighten us on what skills you think we are ignorant of. Oh, and by the way, this is clearly a bard item if I out-roll the monk. Nyah.
#REDACTED, Posted: Sep 22 2002 at 11:55 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) the 55 guy is right, dex does help your channeling. and as alot of high end monks will tell you, HP is very important, so the bracer of fortitude is a better item

you can do him with just a shaman, cleric, monk. very easy but it will be like a 10min fight i do this a few times each week np, and cleric is still fm when he dies.

I agree. We went to UP for the first time. Was me (54 Warrior) 60 Ranger, 60 Shaman, 54 Cleric, 56 Enchanter, and a 53 Warrior. I tanked him the whole time. He's a big pushover once he's slowed. Our Cleric was able to get to FM before I got to one bubble of health every time (had 4k+ HPs). Long fight, but easy. Dropped Bracelet of Beauty for us. Our chanter made out like a bandit. Dreamwavers Cap and the Bracer, hehe. We'll be doing this again very soon, I think.

We did this guy with a 57sk, 52wiz, 57 rogue, 59 druid, and 60 cleric (ie no slow). Was a very tough fight, when he was at about 30% hp the cleric was at 10 mana, so I tanked him to two bbls of hp and then kited him in a circle over and over while the rogue melee/bs until the cleric got enough mana for ch again, did this many times, was kind of amusing actually. He only summons every 5 seconds or so, if you got 1k hp left and only taking minimal melee dmg when he does summon, this tactic can be useful (need a sk though or some other high aggro class that can keep the aggro, even with ch and wiz nukage, he never looked at anybody but me). His melee isn't that strong, missed me about half the time, if he is slowed he's just a big ***** cat. I believe the shm that said they solo'd him, lot of hp, but slowable + gay melee, bane/epic etc would eventually wear him down.

Took him out with 60 cleric and 60 ranger. Pulled him single to ME zone. It seems to roam around close to the zone. It has a lot of HPs, rampages, cannot be snared or rooted (but it doesnt run so no big deal). Epic slow landed ok after tashing it with a journeyman's walking stick. I did run out of mana near the end and was lucky a nice chanter gave me C2 which allowed me to keep healing on fumes.

We went to UP last night with 5 mages, 2 epic btw< lv's ranging from 52(me) to 60, and we where killing the wanderers by the zone in yunnel, till we seen this guys stoll past..

Easily done with 5 mages, i myself stayed at or very near FM the whole fight, so did the other mages.. we chain petted him for 10 minutes striaght , took forever, but it was so much fun.. this guy has alot of HP's i mean alot, prob 100k or around, trick is not to nuke and you wont get summoned, instead he just summons the 5 pets bashing him up.. vgery awesome fight, and in the end he dropped the Bracer of Might, which one of our lucky mages won for a twinkage.. all and all this was an awesome encounter and we did it with 5 peeps ...>>never doubt the powers of a mage<<<

A group of my guildmates (and one former guildmate) and I took him down last nite, pre-patch. We did it with one group consisting of 54 SK, 54 Druid, 59 Druid, 52 Cleric, 53 Enchanter, and 52 Shaman (me). No deaths, we had 3 pets beating on him, tank took quite a few CH's but never died, and we all ended up about 20-40% mana left. Bakkin, our 59 Druid did an awesome job of pulling all nite long. I landed Malosi on the first cast and everything after that landed, with no resists; Turgurs, Ebolt, chanter Cripple, you name it. Dropped the Bracer of Quickness, which went to Nazrak, our tank.

Update: Took him down again on 5/15. This time it was a much larger party (well, about 11 people). Enraged quite a few times during the fight, and only had one death at the very beginning because of add. Our tanks, chanter, and cleric took him down fairly quick. Definitely a easy fight once he is slowed and crippled. Had a moktor add at the beginning, which we proceeded to use my body to keep busy. Cleric was even gonna Rez in the middle of the fight because she was swimming in mana. No one feeding her either. Dropped the Bracelet of Might, which went to the monk (Grats Figlet =))

He only enrages once during the fight, and that's when he's very low on health; I believe you meant he rampages several during a fight, which is basically ae melee to the 3 people on top of his hate list (I think).
#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 30 2002 at 11:04 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) My RL friend also soloed this, but he didnt use pet, he tanked it himself, got you beat by about 15 min, he did it roughly in half an hour. Dropped stamina bracer. Nice job anyhow, tough mob to solo.
