Look these guys are a bit tuf yeas and see they can be rooted or snared but they arent 100% magic resistant dont listen to that guy i and my brother both hunt there often i do not have track so i kill in a serten area for long periods ot time and usealy see them walk near my camp the pelts are for errudin quest the snake rattle and the teeth that are droping from them are for a hertic quest in Peniel sorry for the miss spell all anyways good hunting ,,

Second, they are pretty easy to take down. An air pet with nothing more than burnout 3 will tank them quite easily. Lavabolt and char lands for full damage on any of the ancients. You may want to try a water pet to deal with Slyder's poison (they're extremely resistant to poison).

Is this snake KOS or just indifferent like every other snake? No one yet has said the area where he spawns, and the spawn rate. Any ideas?

there is a titan quest from paineel..you have to bring 5 peices of ancient titans...it originates on the top floor of the tavern where the dancing skelies are...i think you need the rattler from this titan...yah kill the sucker!!!
I killed him today (dot/fear) and he dropped a Ancient Snake Skin LORE NO DROP wt. 2.5
Anyone have any info on this? BTW, I wish I had not killed him. Didnt know he was on cat faction, now im dubious from indiferent in 1 kill.

ok i have killed him 2 times and once 2 rattles droped and the othe the venom sac droped but no scale or weapon ahhhhhh dumb snake

IT IS A LIQUID YOU SUREPOSE TO USE ON WEAPON BUT AS FAR AS I CAN TELL IT IS PERMERNT. BUt like i said i believe it is brokren quest so new gms don't kow about it

I think alcohol tolerance goes up faster with lower intelligence, my base INT as a monk is 75, about 79 80 after my gear is on, and my alcohol tolerance goes up every time i drink anything alcoholic!

the fang and poison sac is for a quest i did got a item and was told i can add what i got to a weapon to make a new one but i think brokren cuz i can't figure out how to make weapon

Are you referring to the quest that Collier gives in the Vasty Deep?
From the wording of the quest, I believe what you get from the doing the quest with him is some sort of poison, for rogues.
If I'm wrong, I'm wrong, but post some info on the item you got for doing the quest and we'll try to help you along.

Good luck on getting an 11/30 1h piercer with effect of weak poison for 350pp. A gloomwater harpoon costs more than that.

I looked for him all day today, never seen him once on track or anything, So does anyone know where abouts he spawns???

He is not 100% mr. The 5 titans just cant be rooted or snared. All other spells including mez works. Just like giants can not be stunned or mez but can be snared and rooted. They are just resistant to certain spells.

Killed him today with the Help of a 44 Bard, I am a 43 Druid. I had him to about 3/4 life using Terrorize Animals, and Drones of Doom, and I had 2 Bubs of Mana left, Bard (Greathits) helped me finish him off. He dropped the Mantle and an Ancient Snake Rattle. Never did get hit with the poison, but he nailed me a couple of times for 89-100. Faction went from Indifferent to Kejek to Apprehensive with one Kill. Now I must repair my faction so I can do the Heretic Quest. Anyone know if the Ancient Snake Rattle is for a Quest ?

slyder is a blue con to lvl 44
he is on kejekan faction
he hits for about 89's

He is not hardly Magic resistant at all. Stun is a VERY effective spell on all the titans. All the titans are coded immune to snare, root and darkness. To keep druids from farming them. I say druids couse they farm so well :) He has at a guess 4k hp, killed him a couple times, once solo and once with a little help. Worst part about him is the DoT, other than that he is easy, just pump up your PR and you will have no prob, with a healer. He is also pretty slow moveing so is possibly kiteable. he is deffinantly the slowest moveing titan. The 2 cats are naturally fast and the panda and ape are shamen so they SOW.
Level 40 mob with 8k hp?? I do not see that being possible, not even in Velious, barring Bloodmaw and Corudoth of course.

Haven't killed his one yet, but all the titans I have killed so far drop faction with the Kejek (spelling) and also the kitties in the city.

If this is the snake i think it is, it is immune to any movement slowing spells (i.e. root, snare, darkness) and procs deadly poision (100dd 1100 dot/37 ticks). Mean snake.

does anyone know where in stonebrunt he spawns near have been trying to locate for last 3 days with no luck any help about his spawn are or spawn rate would be greatly appreciated
