This camp can be one long camp, so bring some very good friends. There are two EEs that spawn every 50 minutes while the goblins in the room spawn every 19. If you are facing the drawing on the wall, the EEs spawn in the pool; three goblins spawn around the pool, one on either side in the back, and one at the front of the pool; and one goblin at the entrance to your right. There is possibly a 5th goblin, but I wasn't sure if he was spawning or just walking in.
With AC, the EEs hit for 28 average dmg and 72 max. Their spells were not particularly tough, usually no worse than a melee hit, but they can whack you with over 240 points of damage, so magic, fire, and cold resistance is a must if available to you. These EEs never once tried to cast charm on me, which is usually standard procedure for an EE, but the Goblin Thoughtshaper often tried.
It took 9 cycles (18 EEs) to get the complete set of three runes necessary for the Crafted Pauldron quest, or just over 6 1/2 hours. The EEs also dropped 2 bundles of optic nerves necessary for the Crafted Bracers, so you can kill two birds with one camp.
Me and my friends were tryin to group in here, but we were on either side of the EE's. A monk came down and just ran through, he was like lv 25, none the less, he fell fast. We dropped the 2 evil eyes, but I being a ranger had no ac and no hp, and i had the pleasure of tanking. Survived the evil eyes, but had like half a bub of HP and the greenies started to aggro and i had like 8 whailing on me.

At this stage me dinking dat da evil eyes where prisoners and wouldn't touch me. i took one step through da wall and got hit for 240 dmg, by da time i had turned around to run mesa was dead............ so unless u can deal with dem always go da uder way okies...
ARGH, that Jar Jar Binks scheme made me want to hurt you so badly
Anyways yeah those EE are some pretty bad Mother @#%ers if your a lower level party just cruising around for some cheesy loot. Though Ive found that with a Ranger its easier to just hunt the EEs for the runes elsewhere
At least Borxx isnt cruising around anymore, She made that dungeon totally inaccesable to the levels for which the dungeon was intended

I can't read anything about this zone without seeing one of his posts about having to get his corpse out of here with "50k of gear!!" on it and how his "stamina is 183!!!!". Really relavant and interesting stuff there guy.
These things are not lvl 30, or just pretty stong for there lvl, i mean, they cast DD's that hit for 250+ and hit for around 50-70! And con blue to a lvl 37 rogue...So my advice is keep clear of these fella, unless your in a really good group.
I was standing at the zone line to misty and someone trained both of these guys. I was hit twice at 240hp and once at 175hp before i knew what hit me. i looked up at my health and i was hanging on to life by one breath so i quickly zoned to misty. I am a level 36 druid and they are blue to me. Keep your distance and run like heck if they are trained unless you are upper level and can take them out. Good Luck! Wrathgiver - TM server
My guild hunted these for the Warrior Runes recently. They spawned between 45 and 50 minutes apart each time. Out of 6 kills they dropped the top rune 3 times.

God....... 200dmg nuke and i have about 95magic resist. =( now i lost my corpse and cant find it...only a little longer till it goes POOF! i better go find it *cries*
I am a 35 necro I was roaming runnyeye and one of these eyes attacks me. It's blue so I figure no problem. I get hit for about 43 damage while at full health of 571 and suddenly I die. A guide says they put a dot on me, but I didn't see a dot icon on my screen, I had npc spells off, but I didn't see an graphics hit me either. Anyone know anything?
My advice, turn NPC spells ON! They can cast some descent DD's, and with 2 in the room, they both cast DD's that hit for mid 200's if you don't resist. Do the math, 250 + 250 = 500, add the 43 melee you got hit with and you're almost dead. (Factor in the few extra points that I rounded out and ... LOADING, PLEASE WAIT...)
When will people learn the importance of resist gear?
Went there recently with my 51st wizard. Took a serious beating after I moved closer to the pool after getting a "You cannot see your target" message. Aggroed the eyes and a backstabbing goblin. Lost my skin and 700 hits before killing them all. No runes either :(
After that I found a few spots where I could drop them in one nuke. They have more than 643 hits (Draught of Fire) but less than 783 hits (Rend).
There are also 3 goblin spawns in there, one just outside the room and a regular wandering goblin. All died in one Draught(643 damage). Twice when I checked there was a Crusader with around 700 hits in one of the spawn spots. He dropped a Blackened Iron ******* Sword (20/47 lore) both times.
As an idea on drop rates I killed 12 eyes in all and got 2 Bottom Runes, a Middle rune and an Upper rune for the set.
I also got a Polished Bone Bracer. The PBB is fairly rare I think, when I was killing eyes in the Gorge looking for a PBB it used to take 25 to 28 eyes before one would drop.

Hi Guys, Ive been camping these guys for my warrior alt, and was wondering if anyone has come across a definate spawn time? I realize the old spawn time was every 18min, but not now. Im hitting the 15hr mark and still no repop?
-General Info- If your under lvl 35 dont even try these unless you have a cleric with you Any magic resistance over 70 USUALLY will allow you to resist their spells Their nukes are max of 300pts These do not charm, the gorge ones do Yes they do drop the Warrior Runes, and the Blackened Iron Totem No these do not drop polished bone bracers, the ones in the gorge do I have not seen Borxx since the pickclaw takeover
I have heared rumors that these evil eyes drop Polished Bone Bracers (breacelets)...if anyone has any other information to prove me wrong or right...plz send a reply
LOL... that's funny that really is. I love being in the thick of the action, refining my pull technique and leading the group while the cleric stares at this book. Sometimes he wants to hit the mob with his little ball on a stick. Bad bad cleric. Play gems or something.
yeah and i bet you can solo crush in cb too big guy thats just amazing that a lvl 48 can solo a lvl 35. oh......never mind.....your a warrior. that is a hard thing to do for you. *laughs his *** off at the wuss warrior*
Warriors arent supposed to solo :) We are supposed to stand in the way so you can kill whatever we figth.... Tank, Meatshield, Damagetaker and Obstackle is words to think of... hehe but were never supposesd to be soloers afther level 20 that is (i still solo red gobs in HK though but only due to full crafted or better. a LSOEE and Tasky and a nice 24 haste item)
Hello =) At 46 Bard Solo these guys took me down about two bubbles of health (400HP). I was wondering what the heck their spawn time is though as I have been sitting here for a while and nothing.. The Pickclaws are respawning but the Evil Eyes are not. Just wondering if anyone had any information on Spawn Time.
OK, I am really confused. I see several messages about getting killed by the EE's in here. Some of it I can see, espically for the lvl 20 to low 30 types, but the message from the lvl 50+ dieing to these guys have me puzzled. I have soloed them ever since lvl 40 as a cleric. I am now lvl 52 Cleric and still see no problems. Yes, that DD for close to 200, but i only get one at a time. and with a DD of 500+ (Yes, we clerics can nuke) I make short order of them.
lvl 52 cleric DD's for 500dmg, and you say "yes we clerics can nuke"?!?!?!?
Thats still 2 casts to take each down. Look at it this way Druid (lvl 29), Mage (lvl 20), wizzy (lvl 20), heck shaman/necro/beastlord (lvl 34) can take then down in the same 2 casts it takes a cleric at lvl 52!!!! By the time the wizzy gets to 39 it's one cast (1 shot xp mobs, NOT greenies), mage 44 thats right 1 shot (light blues), druids/shammies/necro's will have to wait til 49-52ish for a 1 shot kill on these (unless you wanna DoT something thats gonna try to fry you).
Simply put clerics cannot NUKE (contrary to what you think), they are NOT designed to!! Go sit behind a tank and Buff his ***** Ohh Wait, You buffed yourself up with yer buffs and still went to 1/2 health then said "yeah we clerics can nuke", kk so your MR buff is better than the ones who said they had trouble, your symbols etc can easily double your HP, which means you probably would of died had you not buffed yourself.
You would not be a good business person. The 50+ that said they had trouble, was probably looking to make a quick buck (make it sound hard to lower levels, so less people attempt it, thus less supply with increased demand=inflated price). Me personally, even though they are 1 hit kills (and have been for 16 lvl's, heck I barely see my mana bar move from the 2 quick shots to kill both), I get bugged to help lower lvl guildies do this alot, I make it sound tough cause it's a pain in my **** to sit there getting no xp to help a guildie out, and I never let them come along, of course I slaughter the zone when I am there to rake in a few BAM's to make it worth sitting there bored as hell, now if I let them lowbie guildies join me, they would be begging for BA, BI, BALS, BIBS, BABS, BIM's and BAM's, SDS's, SSS's and them crap gloves (10% haste IMO isn't worth having), and worse yet, if they saw how my pet cleaned the zone, they would be begging me to reclaim pet right before each mob dies so they could get the xp (like my mana pool is that big /em smiles knowing it wouldn't move his mana bar or if it did it would move it closer to FM).
Seriously though cleric, your mana is not well spent nuking, and this may upset you but at 44 a mage can own the zone, and only have to cast on 5 mobs total (that means pet kills everything without help at all, but the 4 blues and 1 light blue the mage would go ahead and cast a quick DD to do 1/2 dmg thus getting full xp), and be nearly FM the whole time :0) Sure BO2 every 15 minutes and DS every 2-3, but /pet kill and /sit, clear room move rinse repeat
"I get bugged to help lower lvl guildies do this alot, I make it sound tough cause it's a pain in my **** to sit there getting no xp to help a guildie out, and I never let them come along"
Boy, you sure sound like someone I want to be in a guild with... go on a raid with... or even be in a group with. It's all very good and well that you can compare numbers and state that, in comparison, a cleric's DD is paltry, it's another thing all together to launch a multi-paragraph, supercilious tirade that really only hints to the fact that you seem to be that rather self-centered, self proclaimed "expert" that no one needs another of and that there are always seems to be too many of.
"You would not be a good business person. The 50+ that said they had trouble, was probably looking to make a quick buck (make it sound hard to lower levels, so less people attempt it, thus less supply with increased demand=inflated price)."
You know, you're probably right... but doesn't bragging about how easy you can take these creatures defeat the value of using such a misleading tactic? Now someone who was dubious as to whether he or she could tackle this foe is a bit more sure of themselves... suddenly, there are more players venturing into this "difficult" camp with their garden scythes and straw hats for a bit of old fashioned harvesting. It would be my guess that you need a few trading tips as well...
Me personally, even though they are 1 hit kills (and have been for 16 lvl's, heck I barely see my mana bar move from the 2 quick shots to kill both) "I slaughter the zone when I am there to rake in a few BAM's to make it worth sitting there bored as hell, now if I let them lowbie guildies join me, they would be begging for BA, BI, BALS, BIBS, BABS, BIM's and BAM's, SDS's, SSS's and them crap gloves (10% haste IMO isn't worth having.)"
Now, if none of these items, save the Blackened Alloy Medallion, is "worth having", then why is it such a chore to allow your lower level guildmates have these "worthless" items when you would either destroy or let rot anyway? Since, if said guildies would be begging for them, there is obviously some worth to these items you dismiss. One final point that may or may not mean anything to you: Do not assume your opinion is widely felt, as you are apt to have your feelings hurt. I, obviously, do not agree with you and there are others who would agree/disagree/interject a differing opinion of their own.
"Seriously though cleric, your mana is not well spent nuking, and this may upset you but at 44 a mage can own the zone."
Well isn't that a dreadful thing that you can own a 30th level zone at 44, I am utterly devastated! <insert sufficient sarcasm here> I believe all that was stated is that a cleric does have some means of defense in a pinch. You are right, a healer's job is to do that, heal. While I agree with your bare-bones, basic point, "clerics cannot nuke in the traditional sense", I feel that you need to work on your delivery of such a triviality. ::She winks and flicks her tail before striding gracefully off into the shadows from whence she emerged.::
