Met this Duo with my 53 Pally, I'd never been to RE before and it was quiet so checked it out, the goblins around the eyes didn't even agro me while i killed the EE's. One dropped the Top third whilst the second dropped the middle and a totem with +5HP and +10mana. I then ventured deep into RE, on my way back they had respawned and the first dropped the Top piece but the second this time dropped the bottom.

Can someone please email me and tell me if a LVL 29 tank can solo the Evil Eye. Any info would be greatly appreciated and please put Evil Eye in subject. Thanks to whoever helps me out

Sorry bud, No, a lvl 29 War cannot take these alone. They are pretty bad and not real close to a zone. You will also have 5 adds of the little pesky goblins that are around the eyes. Be careful and good luck.

I just killed two of them that were in the pool described in the other post (ie EE pic on wall).
They both conned blue to me at 39. One was a piece of cake, the 2nd actually hurt me.
I got some totem from them. Gives HP and Mana but nothing special. Blackened .... Totem. It's info is here on Allakhazams
I also got a piece of the rune from each of them and a Polished Bone Bracelet from the tougher one.
I have to go out now but will see about killing them again tommorow when I log back on.

The two Evil Eye prisoners (Which btw have a really really slow spawn time) Can drop all of the three runes. None of them seems rarer than the other. The middle and lower pieces are lore items, so is the top but it is no drop as well. Ive searched whole Runny Eye (I think...) But I have only been able to find the two Evil Eye prisoners. There seems to be no other Evil Eyes in the zone. If anyone know where to find more Evil Eyes, let me know.

The runnyeye EE prisoners drop all three pieces randomly. I got all 3 from killing just 4 of them.

If you where to look closely at the texy up top it staes that the EE's will drop that items. Borxx is just one of the EE's. And he will randomly drop one of the runes. Don't bother wating for him it's a pain. But jsut go in and take them out. The EE's are around lvl 25ish. So no a lvl 22 war alone would have trouble, unless you get luck and he 1 doesn't turn you into a pet. and two doesn't cast anything hard on you. But as lvl 22 war you would also have to contend with the gob's in the zone also. At lvl 25 the spores con blue so i'mnot sure if this is any help to anyone at the moment but if it does then Good Luck on your hunting and i hope ya all get what your looking for =)

Evil eyes can not be soloed by any class very successfully until lvl 35+ they seem easy to defeat in groups, but heir DD spell does aroiund 600 damage. The Dot does around 1200 dmg so be careful when fighting these. Runneye evil eyes are also much harder to defeat than any other EEs. The runes are common drops all except the top. I beleive the top is not drop while the others are just lore. These EEs do not drop Optic nervs so don't hunt these fro both bracers and Pauldrons. For nerves beholders maze is your best choice. Any EEs drop these in Runneye, so try to keeep away from Borxx. He is know to kill a lvl 40 warrior in 1 hit. Take my advice and be careful Runneye is a warriors nightmare.

I would like to state that My husbands wizard can solo the evil eyes and he is only lvl 31, he hits with 2 nukes and they are dead, and all he takes is 1 hit of 20 damage. So basically what im trying to say is that they dont have a dd spell tha does 600 damge (maybe 60 dam at most) and they dont have a dot that does 1200dam (maybe u are thinking of charm) and i have seen lvl 30 warriors, rangers, and druids solo these as well.

actually, they have some nice dd spells. I've camped them several times. a lev 33 druid and I were fighting them, killed the first two no problems. after they respawned (the spawn time is twenty minutes) the first presented no problems, but the second was trouble. when I hit one and a quarter bubbles of health, I told the druid to heal me, the next three lines of text where "you are hit by 233 non-melee dmg" "loading, please wait" "you have entered rivervale" so, no, its not 600, but it is certainly a lot higher than 60. by the way, I'm a level 30 warrior and it took me 3 days to get all 3 pieces, and I camped the eyes for four hours straight each night.

Yesterday I looted "Top of a fractured Rune" and "Middle of a fractured Rune" of the Evil Eye Prisoners in the room with the eye panting on the wall on the second level. Both pieces are LORE but are not NO DROP. I hav yet to find the bottom of the rune which I suppose will be called something on the lines of ("Bottom of a fractured Rune").
In know from previous information posted here that these indeed are the runes we seek for. They are NOT called anything like rune of the dwarven or such. The Eyes dropped a piece of the rune nearly everytime I killed one. Not the bottom piece sadly.

There is till one EE in runnyeye. He is near the water in the pool at the bottom. I know he still drops the pieces for tis quest cause i got two of them when exploring RE afer the patch

i just got all 3 runes off three different evil eyes in runnyeye, all on lvl 2 of runnyeye. they were just plain evil eyes no named ones.

I and my group found the runes on mutiple EE's in the zone. We were switching to different locations to kill different EE's and eventually found all three runes. I do not remember killing a named eye at all.
I've now been all over all four levels of runnyeye and there is only one place that the Evileye Prisioners pop. There is two, both in the pool on the second level. If you clear the riff-raff first you can concentrate on the eyes. I'm a level 39 warrior and I cannot solo both eyes with out help. been knocked down to level 38 trying to solo eyes. Today with three level 50 and up peeps we played the room for about 5 hrs to get the last remaining rune for me to complete the quest. I got optic nerves eye sockets iron idols and optic bundles. I also got other runes and various other items. I rune I need still is the bottom rune. Random is the word. Those of you who camp the eyes it is about a 20 min spawn rate. go to level 4 and fight your way to the bank and pickup the blackened armor. almost got a full set today between spawns. Also a level 36 druid and I can handle the eyes together. Resist magic helps. and they do hit very hard. 60 to 300 HP a swing. Just my two cents-Posdmordim

I'm getting conflicting information. Can these runes be found on any of the EE's in Runnyeye, or are they only found on Borxx?
